It is set to extreme, but the software keeps reporting that it is set to normal, I think it is a bug!

I run the test 3 times, with the same results about tessellation.

What version of HEAVEN are you running? 2.1 is the latest version. I haven't seen any issue with it reporting tessellation incorrectly.

Hodgy, your GTX260's are not capable of running tessellation regardless of what you set it too. They are not DX11 capable and Nvidia cards did not have tessellation prior to the GTX400 series.

Hmm I'm not sure it is reporting it incorrectly but it seems it would set tessellation to normal as soon as I press Benchmark.

    I use v. 2.1

I only mentioned it because it's listing your GTX260 as your display adapter.

Just ran it with my GTX 470 stock and got 17fps; then I overclocked the card a bit without changing vGPU, and my system gave up on the 3rd test

OK here are my results, stock & OC speak for themselves. CPU is at 4.1GHz, ramped vGPU right up to get 800/1600/3500 stable (but could probably have gone higher).

I'd need more clocks to hit the min of 30.. think it's possible with some tweaks... there's one spot where it seems to hitch loading some stuff and drops low.

    3 480's 860/2000 and 980x @ 4.4

    EVGA z68 FTW
    i7 2600k @ 4.8

Something's not right with that score. My previous 3 GTX470's easily beat that score too.

Strange. I'll play with this some more later. Might be something I messed up with it. Gaming performance is great though, so I'm not too worried, this PC's for gaming my face off

Just for comparison, looks like the 6xxx series didn't improve on tess performance compared to the hd 5850 benchmark shown earlier.

The 6870 should have been called 6770 and only then tessellation performance would be OK for such a card.
