i dont think so... on the contrary, thin slits will literally suck liquids into the space between the board and the cover...

this makes sense to protect boards against esd though... good idea, i wanted to do this a long time ago at foxconn as well...

i dont like the way they are doing it tho...

im curious about the rog board... a highend overclocking board for locked mainstream cpus... hmmm

    Off topic.
Besides i was puting extra heatsinks on top of smaller chips, one of asus deluxe top rated mainboard? (usaly sata controler and clock chip)
    to gain stability of computer

Interesting.. On normal run board is hot, when oc mainboard chips may explode...

I will be good to see more heatsinks nowdays not just on nb - sb - votage regulatorsz

-Still wonder the real world use of the sabretooth cxxlxng shield... Would really love to test the military class tuffness :p (think I can arrange a tank to ride over it :p)

-Not a real fan of the new heatsink theme, the older ROG was far better looking... but if the board performs , who cares...

-The abundance of USBX.X is terrifying...

-New Asus soft package is shaping up nicely, though not much new under the horizon...

-@Saaya : Pics seem to be okay for GB mobo's though we signed NDA too for them for results and co...

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Looks ugly a hell. Also +1 to the PWM being terrible.

Wasn't 65x supposed to be max for i7-2600K? But I doubt even 6.5GHz would require much voltage for these chips, ie no 1.8v+ above suicide runs required at least, perhaps ~1.6v would be enough even under cold.
