Only problem, the option to independently alter the turbo multiplier isnīt there. I think some tweaking options in the memory submenu where added but I have to double check this.

Have a better look, because they told me the option is there now

i updated my bios once and loaded the settings i used with the previous bios, and the settings were warped all over the place as well. so it's safe to say you need to manually write down your settings before updating. if you think about it, it makes sense anyway.

I have one request for the 890GX Extreme3.

Now running on 2.50 and it works great.

But something i hate about this board since BIOS 1.80.

They added the TurboUCC witch i will NEVER EVER use.

And they left out the 3 ASRock defoult LOGO's ever since...

I WANT THE OLD LOGOS BACK!

    I want this:

    (with the green flames)
    And this:

    And this:

    Not THIS:

Sorry for the late answer, had to repair my car first.

You are right, the feature is there. It only appears if you set turbo manually to "enabled" - it isnīt displayed with turbo set to "auto" which I used since I got the board.

Tested and works - OC to 3,5 GHz, turbo manually lowered to 4,0 GHz with 1055T.

Greeting & have a nice weekend!

i just got an 890FX Deluxe4 for my 1055T, i can get the chip to 4.13GHz 1.55v easy on a 890GPA-UD3H but i can't seem to get much of anything with this board

also BIOS reads CPU temps 40-50C at any clocks, where at desktop it reads 18c-40c depending on load at 3.7GHz (dual fan lapped TRUE, the true is cold to the touch at idle)

and for some reason with coretemp, Core#0 mostly reads with a 4x multi even though c1e and throttling are disabled, core #1-5 all read the 3710MHz they're supposed to
downloading 1.10 to see if its better than the 1.02 launch BIOS though the notes just say:
    1. Add setup option "OFF" in item "Chassis Fan2 Setting".
    2. Added "Hot Plug Support" for AHCI SATA port.
neither of which will help my problems

edit: chassis fan2 does not have an off function lol
and the second boot (at overclocked settings) i got a CMOS checksum error forcing me to go into bios or load defaults, set it to the 25% overclock and let it rip, only 3.5GHz but i'll see if its stable and if it is at what voltages

edit2: okay 1.10 is FULL of fail, it won't let me boot at any overclock without the CMOS checksum bad error, and none of the auto % overclocks are stable at all

don't think this has been mentioned, but BIOS 1.00/1.02/1.10 all report CPU VID (via coretemp) as whatever vcore you set in BIOS, not the chip's actual VID

My 890GX Extreme3 will not reboot at all. If i do a shutdown then power up it is fine. It counts up to C7 and recycles on all reboots. I have tried dif processors and ram. Started on 2.4 bios and tried all betas up to 2.50

Board performs magnificently however the no reboot thing is annoying to say the least

    Dear guys,
after having pushed many times with asrock I have to abandon this topic. It's not because I do not wanna do the support for you but because I don't have good times here
so I'll give you the last updates and than stay away for a bit.
1_890FX Deluxe4: coming a new bios in future, but not any big updates (skier seeing this vid is normal, and hot plug is present in the current bios)
2_890FX Deluxe3: new bios coming also for this, sorry but donno when and which updates are included
3_890GX Extreme3: no news here, but you still have lot of support like now for this board
I think all new bioses will come out with the new CPU like 1065T adding the CPU microcodes
Bad news: they DOESN'T MATTER ABOUT PSCs

    Cheers and Sorry

no worries, i actually just got rid of my ASRock anyway lol was getting it for a 460 1GB, but just sent the board back +shipping to keep the 460 and wait for my GA-890GPA-UD3H to get back from RMA, the UD3H is a champ, straight up
