8800GT bios for better overclocking! *test*

ok that's kind of what i thought too...

for 40.00 bucks why not...

but i'll hang onto the trusty g31 just in case i blow em both AND the board

seriously though - SOME guy i read was able to do and even do benches

i figure if it even can trade blows with two 4830's or two 3870's it's worth a try...
cause then it's like getting a 3870x2 only lower power and only 40.00

but like i said...keepin it cheap here...


now that i think of it i'll be flashing the cheaper one definitely..since i think it has a defect anyway...

I also have access to a used 9800gtx+ oc by bfg
now technically they are all 8800gt's right???? right up to the gts 250 etc??? (8800, 9800, gt, gts 512, gtx etc)

any chance i could flash either of these cards into thinking it was the other since they are both g92 with the same transisters and nanometers etc????



or is there even less chance of that...
