Same I thing I get with an incompatible video card or bad ram. If you haven't tried it already go down to the minimum amount of ram fro now.

Hm, okay I went from 16 x 512 to just 4 in CPU0's dim bank. Nothing. Switched them around and even tried 2 sticks. Nothing. Zip.

Think I'll just buy a cheapo gpu. Quick scout on ebay I can find an ati rage for ~£3 Link and a x550 for the same. If I can't get one I'll try the other.

Shame, I was really hoping to get this on the grid this weekend

    Hi there,
i managed to have a fully working ubuntu 10.10 set up and this set up really works fast.
But i cannot enter the bios.
I press the delete button and the obey man says
    "entering bios"
and it stucks for ever in that message.
I tried celaning the cmos by removing the battery but that did not help.
    Any ideas?
also do you know about the usb header? One 9 pin header is located near the lan ports and another one is located near the sata20 port.
Both looks the same yet one should be COM header and the other one should be USB header.
Has anyone used one successfully?Do i need to enable the extra usb ports throug bios?
Can i enter th bios with a EFI command?
    thank you .

um that's alot of questions. the only answer i have for you is that in bios you have to switch the default of 2 usb devices to 4. i haven't tried to see how many usb devices i can use at once though

    Hey guys,

I recently sold my Quad Socket machine but still have the ram lying here. It's 4x1GB of Kingston Reg ECC DDR2-800 in perfect working condition, should run great on the Arima boards (or any other quad socket AMD mobos). If any1 is interested, shoot me a PM. I'll let those go cheaply to a fellow cruncher (Europe preferable)

    An Xtreme id10t?

I'd love one, but the cost is beyond me.

The comments are also meant for laughter. We are laughing at ourselves. Right now I have 44 cores running in this house. Does that make sense to any normal person? Makes perfect sense here though.

Do you need anything in particular to get it going?
