Id hate to have another lightning 5870 fiasco go down.
I'm up for the task if you want to send it over here.

Ill believe it when i see it Hazzan
Particularly in Indonesia, where they couldn't even supply me a MSI 5870 Lightning on RMA, or 480 standard in the last 5 weeks.

    My 480GTX LN2 Run
Because LN2 was not enough, did not try 1450 Mhz.
And did not know that is limited by 1400 Mhz.(A/B)
    Is setting method more high?

Vantage starting TEMP -140c (Sometimes, error happens if if screen breaks or executes vantage at 140c degrees.)
    Vantage Running TEMP -155~160c

here is my bad experience, Ive used about 100L on this card now with no better result than this

    R3E
    Fat boy
    antec tpq1200

    AB 2.0.0 Extreme
    Force constant
    No monitoring
all switches on except the 2pwm ones
keeping pcb at 30-35c no frost at all visible
    Memory at +250mv

    Game test 1 scaling
    1050/1200 @ 1.408v -90c pass
    1100/1200 @ 1.408v -99c pass
    1150/1200 @ 1.408v -100c fail = Black screen
    1150/1200 @ 1.408v -118c fail = Display driver crash
    1150/1200 @ 1.408v -125c fail = Display driver crash
    1150/1200 @ 1.450v -140c pass
    1200/1200 @ 1.450v -140c fail = Display driver crash 3s in
    1200/1200 @ 1.500v -140c fail = Checkerboard crash 3s in
    1200/1200 @ 1.500v -155c fail = Green screen crash 3s in
    1200/1200 @ 1.550v -155c fail = Checkerboard crash 1s in
    1200/1200 @ 1.500v -140c +300 mem = Black screen crash 1s in
    1200/1250 @ 1.500v -150c +300 mem = Black screen crash 1s in

    Saw alot of these

Thoughts? Going to burn this like vince and the REX

I think my version of afterburner is broken, force constant voltage is checked but not true. +300 = 1.425 in 2d and 1.503 in 3d. As soon as it ramps up the voltage within the first couple seconds of vantage it freezes.
Is there a version out that actually keeps the voltage constant 2d and 3d or a 3d only bios

that grey screen is many times too high vcore at high speeds, maybe your gpu likes lower vcore in GT1, you sure your GFXMem likes 1200 with high gpu from that artifact freeze ?

I dont have any problem with AB .....

    Left memory clock first...try raise Core step by step...I start from 1200 VGPU +200 - 1250 VGPU +250 - 1300 VGPU +275 - 1350 VGPU +325 - 1375 VGPU +350 -1400 VGPU +350 - 1410 VGPU +350.... after you get good core try raise Memory clock....I run Memory Clock 1225 VMEM +300 and PLL +300 PCIE Set From Bios 115.
