While searching for accessories, i.e. straps, tripods in the internet, I'm reminded of this community. So why not ask the photogs in here first.

I guess it would depend on what you consider an accessory.... I consider teleconverters to be accessories so my TC-17E II would definitely be my favorite. I also can't live without the MB-D10 grip, Tamrac AeroSpeed 85, or my Manfrotto 680B... this is just going to turn into a list of my gear thread lol

I knew some ppl will have a longer list than others, but that is okay, we n00bs could really use some directions.

+1 on grips, my XTI is much more balanced weight-wise when using the 70-200 or the Tokina 11-16. Also the OC-E3 off-camera flash cord has been really helpful, especially when doing macro work .

I think the most important thing I bought was a really good bag. I have a Stealth Reporter 300.

    I like a grip, too.

I've never owned a battery grip, so I don't see what the fuss is all about
don't get me wrong, I love the size and feel of Canon 1-series cameras, but wouldn't want to lug it around the whole day
size and weight of prosumer cameras suit me well

my favorite accessory would be the Manfrotto CXPRO4, because setting the center column in the horizontal position just opens up a whole new world

I find that the grip makes it easier to carry it for extended periods of time. I can use one more finger to hold it.

I only feed my grip with one battery so the weight isn't that much more.

Sekonic L-758DR, if that counts as an accessory. It has made shooting film so much easier.

with ya there, just got mine for my T2i yesterday.
anything at a distance is a b}tch to focus though. really only good for portrait and close up
makes me really wonder how landscape guys ever got things focused properly at a distance.
