PCI-E x16 is 5% longer than PCI. PCI is about 3.12" long, so PCI-E x16 is about 3.28" long. Total length (on-screen) of that card is 4.25", with PCI-E x16 at 1.5". The PCB is definitely 9.5" long.

Actually I think 9.5" might be correct like bobsama is stating, I think it's longer than 8.5", it's just my measurement of the connector that might be off using a measurement tape (which in fact is a bit worn so the tip moves a little) so it could be closer to 1.4cm rather than 1.3cm, I need a very exact length of it or 16.5 times that will get you a very different result. At least we know it's the length of 16½ power connectors.
So does any1 know the exact dimension of a 6-pin power connector?

9.5 sounds right, basically as long as a motherboard (9.6")

Total with the shroud seems to be about 9.6-9.7"--basically a perfect fit for 9.6" wide ATX boards.

Over at B3d, they calculated out the SP's are likely to be 800/960 for Pro/XT Barts respectively... impressive if 800/960 can get the card to close to the 1440/1600 Cypress parts. I can't even imagine what Cayman can do..
I think the reason why the power section is at the back is for cooling reasons.

well, think about the 850 mhz 800 Sps 4890, it was better than 5830 even at just 800 sps. I assume that if they tweaked the architecture, they would try the same level of efficiency.
A 960 shaders Barts at 900 mhz with that efficiency would be really nice
I wish 6870

As far as the rumors go it sounds like people think the 6870 will be roughly as fast as the 5870. And according to the Holland prices it will be the same price. So, basically we're looking at same performance for the same price. XD
I can't wait to get real figures.
