I'm adding modules people are telling me are PSC, you seem to have a problem with me because of other peoples inaccuracies. I've already said as clearly as I can I want people to tell me kits that are known to be PSC, and nothing else. If there are any modules on the list that more often than not don't use PSC, I invite anyone to show some solid grounds for their claim such as a comment from a rep of the respective manufacturer and the kit(s) in question will get removed from the list.

I won't even comment on your comment about "not being bothered to look for a picture" because I want this thread to remain on topic.

no you did not, you stated which you believed were PSC, and asked for which others knew.... I told you that you were off, and you neglected that post... re-read my post, it is in perfect clear English.
When the company refuse to announce which IC is being used (which is very common) what do YOU think the odds are of a company rep stepping into this thread and enlighten yOU...

What you did is basicly question my knowledge and awareness of the market, which either was what you got - a fight, ir simply you being unaware that I have been very into ram for many years, and is a pioneer in this niche.

that is an option but this time no, I myself have used the IC threads as buyers guide a few times, so sucks when #0 doesnt keep it real....

My first post in here wasnt hostile, but a complete lack of acknowledgement of content triggered a more direct answer.
Dont worry, I still know where to get microns

Lol- too bad, maybe you shouldn´t have let them lay around on the floor- I sold mine(Ballistix PC2-8000) earlier this year, no need for that old stuff anymore

@Topic The idea of this thread is OK, but I think if there are informations posted they should be checked and verified for accuracy- nothing worse than info one can´t rely on, then no information is even better

Whats so unusual at ram being binned at 2000 Cl8-8-8? My Team 2200 did that with 1,62V Memtest and 32M stable, and these weren´t Hypers for sure- I even doubt these were Elpidas- maybe these were the miraculous Microns, were relabeled as I looked, still got fotos and sent them to a friend who could not identify them as well

Please tell me? I just bought a brand new kit of Corsair 2x1GB DDR1600 Dominator 7-7-7-20 2.0v Rev 3.1 that a local etailer had in stock from way back when to compliment my current OCZ SLI Certified DDR2000 kit and one of the sticks doesn't work. If I send it back, I won't get Microns in replacement. One of my options is the Mushkin 2x2GB Redline DDR1600 6-8-6 based on PSC (same price), which brings me to my second question. What can I expect out of them at 6-7-6? DDR1500 or more? If so, I'll probably give up on the Micron idea altogether and replace everything with the 2x2GB PSC.

I am quite happy with an extra gig (3GB total), suddenly Modern Warfare doesn't lag at all, but paying around $200 for an effective 1GB is... eina. Of course, as it has a lifetime warranty, I could hang onto it till such time as I need DDR4

    Sorry for the off topic

Edit: Why do they call that smilie "yawn" if it's a sheepish grin?

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Patriot's Secto5 Edition kits also seem to ship with PSC chips. At least, the 2400-2500MHz models.

Some early G.skill Eco was Samsung too. I have one kit with samsung chips and one with BBSE. Didnt even know they did a PSC version? Bought the Samsung based kit on release and the BBSE kit about 6 weeks later. Samsung is better by far. Neither kit likes more than 1.6v.

    Can you post pics please?

Currently the ECO kits are built using PSC chips, I haven't heard about other chips being used recently.

Can anyone comment on OCZ OCZ3P1600C6LV4GK? It sounds like PSC to me? DDR1600 6-8-6 1.65v

But then I'm seeing someone at NewEgg running 6-6 5-24 at DDR1424 1.52v... Is that possible for PSC?
