Both are brand new. Are there anything specific with Gigabyte's product quality? I never used a Gigabyte product before. Should I buy Gigabyte or just go with the Asus?
    Definitely recommend whichever is cheaper, Gigabyte and Asus are both top notch brands.

    is there any possibility to raise gpu voltage over 1138 on MSI afterburner??
    testing only GPU for now, 904MHz is full stable on 20° ambient

    Is your card water cooled? If you want more Vcore voltage you'll need to mod your BIOS to allow for up to 1.213v using Nibitor 5.7 and then use nvflash using a bootable flash drive. Then MSI's Afterburner will show the extra voltage adjustability.

    no, it's stock cooling, asus vendor

    Example --> Voltage - [0.987V]

    Have a look at your Vcore voltage in Inspector where the blue highlighted voltage value is, this is your VID and it never changes! Your card will drop to idle voltage but never below unless you under clock.

    sorry about that

    this is my new score.... no need to get 900mhz on gpu or cpu @ 4.4 .... is a question of "good" and "correct" oc... numbers don't lie

    27256 (physix on)

    Thanks for fixing the picture sizes!

    Nice scores and overclock with only 1.1V at 873MHz core, it took me 1.125 to get 880MHz core and 4200MHz memory. You should be able to hit 900MHz easy!

    Forget about the memory clocks until you find your max GPU overclock, return your memory clocks back to stock and find your max GPU overclock. If it still crashes in 3DMark time to bump up the voltage.

    Do any of you guys have some nice charts showing performance increase due to your overclock in a game setting, i.e. fps increase? At the moment I don't notice any game needing more frames, but if the difference is big enough, why not.
