    For the people saying you can add redundancy by plumbing one of the pump outlets to the other's inlet, look at the diagram, it won't work. ALL you would be doing is pumping back into the reservoir, that's it. Those inlets on the back pipe straight to the reservoir.

    You are right, now that I think about it the first pump would just be sending fluid back into the res, so if the second fails then the fluid would just be circulating in the res and would not get pulled through the loop. If the first pump failed then the second pump would still pull fluid through the loop and therefore it would be redundant, so in the case you would have a semi redundant setup.
