if you want some proper testing done, i would be more than hapy to run some test loops at work. [ocuk]

we have unlimited hardware and a lot of watercooling test loops for overclocked bundles etc that are always running

pm me if you want to sort something out.

I do expect this to separate over a standing time as no liquid like this can keep its form due to gravity. How ever the longer we can keep it from separating the better and the obvious thing that is works in a injection system and under High pressure with out leaving sediment.

yes it will how ever say you go your holiday and come back say after 2 weeks the mixture will separate.

Now what is needed is that when the pc is started up again it will mix correctly and keep its form when up and running again and not block any ports with in the wc blocks.

What i am doing is suspending Titanium dioxide with a Polymer based substance.

There are few good side effects with the types of chemicals in using as they all so do the following

    1) Help suspend matter (as shown)
    2) Reduce scale and deposits
    3) Reduce the viscosity of dispersion matter

its nothing special really just a different train of thought.

These look really good. I'd totally try the red or blood red. I really can't wait for the chance. Totally willing to try it out!

To be honest as FCKU-1 is a beta test as it is.

when its goes live we going to re-brand it how ever we have sat here for a while and after hours of thinking and not wanting to lose the originality of it we came up with a new name.

We have to say we think this is a big Shout out to Joel and his crew so this T-Shirt is a big shout out to you guys over there ....

Might even get these printed off

    Made out of "Cajun Chicken"

I think it will be a bigger seller as a T-Shirt for lan parties and Modding events than the liquid it self ...

These are not the best Pics in the world and a cpu block needs adding. This has been put in a light tent just to get pics of the liquid (hence bubbles).

This is a long term test (blue dye added for leak detection only).

Now there is fall out if the system is left off for a few ours but this doesn't effect the system what so ever and as soon as its turned back on again the particles are lifted and moved around again with out any problems. The reason for this is gravity (it cannot be avoided) if we make the liquid to strong it will mess up the pump. Because we are using tiny particles (noticed i missed out the nano word ops) haha the liquid seems to work fine. This still needs long term testing though as the liquid is slightly sticky to the touch.

The colours ive managed to make so far as follows..

    Pure white
    Black
    Gray
    Pink
    Red
    Deep Blood red
    Aqua Blue
    Deep Blue
    Purple
    Green
    Deep Green

+ A full range of lighter colours.

All so ive managed to suspend various other things in the liquid which ill not discuss just yet and i think ill leave them till a later date.

Now a few things to note i think it may be possible to make this a concentrate or a premix. Ill decide on what it will be at a later date.

you could do with some of the blood red (fcku-1 version) sending around that thing lol.

defeats the purpose of the reservoir spinner. I did run it with Blood Red Fluid XP at first . . .had fill port in mouth. Forgot to cap it off, turned on system, blood red fluid xp all over the walls. wife was not happy.

Oky ive found a couple of problems that need fixing with this mix. When reading early on you see me say the word "Tacky". On weaker magnetic pumps this has a problem that when the pump is left off for 2 days its causing the pump not to start correctly stressing it out. So what i have done is weekend down the suspension mixture so that there is hardly any in mix and all so added in a lubricant to stop this from happing. How ever there is the problem of fall out of the particles when the pc is turned off and separation is more noticeable. How ever because the particles are so small when the liquid is started moving again it doesn't take long for the mixture to mix correctly.

I managed to make this into a concentrate now in this formula and a 10ml bottle would be enough to do 5 water cooling loops but again this still needs lots of testing and lots of work.

Alls so with lots of research i found it is "possible" to make this white liquid UV active. I may work on this at a later date though as ill need to find out more info but if its possible in my eye then its always worth a try.

On testing as well there is a 1 to 2 c in crease in the temperature when compared to a clean D-water system running a kill coil. the reason why i say 1c or 2c is dependent on how small the loop is but this is some thing i can work on later on..

Got this working much better than expect.

This is pure white with 4 drops of UV clear blue

Oky Titanium dioxide just is not floating my boat. It to heavy and the drop out is not good enough for application in the water cooling department. So with lot's more research and after chatting to some very nice chemical engineering chaps I am getting hold of some near gear.

Some of the Bullet points of the maternal I'm going to use.

    • Excellent Lubricating Properties due to low Coefficient of Friction at 0.15 to 0.70
    • Good Chemical Inertness
    • Electrical Insulator
    • Thermal Conductor (result: better heat dissipation)
    • High Temperature Stability, 1000o C in Air, 1400o C in Vacuum and 1800o C in Inert gas
    • Low Thermal Expansion
    • Low Dielectric Constant
    • High Load bearing properties
    • Non-Wetting: it is not wetted by Glasses, Salts and (most) metals, therefore it provides strong resistance to chemical attack
    • Due to high temperature stability, it is used in many Aeronautic and Space applications.

Ill leave you all guessing what im awaiting to arrive on my desktop for me to play with ...

God I love messing with all this gear ... Oh and its 70 nm in size ... but i didn't mention that name lol.
