Given that 5.0Gbps GDDR5 is still used, id say memory overclocking should equal or beat Cypress, depending on tweaks to the memory controller.

If slower memory is eventually used, that would be a different scenario.

On a side note, IIRC Barts will use Hynix. What did the ref 58xx boards use? I forgot
