Why did you choose the EPoX upon GigaByte, Chaintech and more..?

Because this is the only one thats available here in holland besides the Chaintech.
The Chaintech 250 preforms the same as his 150 brother , that is unacceptable offcourse (new chipset = beter preformace).

And the EPoX has 6 S-ATA controllers onboard wich i use so thats a must for me.

The other brands have not arrived here and will not arrive in a few weeks if you ask me.

Great review, I recommend it, very useful for people who wants to buy an A64+2nd mobo's at these days...

By the way, the Epox 8KDA3+ is the winner
It overclock the best, preforms extremely well and has a great variety of features. thought i'd go for the K8NS, but no...
    NF3250Gb rocks!

The Epox, oc's just as much as the Abit, 2480MHz... And the Abit has vcore up to 1.8v and vdimm 3.2 in ocguru, so i would pick the Abit, IF they soon release a new bios with agp/pci lock fix.

The MSI K8N Neo plat. looks nice too vcore op to 1.81v but only vdimm 2.85v

Well... I will change it with the Abit, but only if I know that there is'nt any problems with the agp/pci lock and multiplier-selection etc.

If you read more carefully, you´ll se Abit have already fixed the agp/pci lock. All shipping boards will have working agp/pci lock.

Im acually going to give the K8V Pro a try tho its Via chipset.

    oops, my mistake.

But the Abit still have some probs. with the multiplier selection, and it also boots up with x9 multi on x10 cpu's... That what the test says

Agreed. My K8NPRO will do 350 FSB (Raid 0) and that`s good enough for me. Only thing missing is hardware firewall and I could care less.

Smokey, after I saw your OCing results I think i'm ready to buy 3200+ NewCastle! Awesome results man, congrats!

Oh and what's limiting you on the way to the 3Ghz club?
How much Vcore & Vdimm? & Dividers? Thanks...

    i'll think i'll get NC 3200+/EP-8KDA3+/OCZ EB/X800Pro next week...

Heej im figuring out this mobo , its got some bios issues wich have to be solved before i can take full advantage of this awesome motherboard.

An example is that it runs much much more stable with 2x 512 mb dimms in stead of 1 wich is very strange .
    I cannot run 10x 290 + with 1x 512 MB dimm but only with 2.

Another example is the Dimm + Core voltages wich arent very stable with or without the Vcore or VDimm mod.

    A new result

    Vcore @1.9 V
    Vdimm @ 3.32 V

This is done with my brand new Enermax 550 Watt PSU ( 36A @ 12V )

    Just got my 3200+ (0411) and a Chaintech nForce3 znf 250
I've got some Corsair pc4000 Xms, MachI and Zalman NB47J for the NB.

Rigth now it is stable at 2600mhz, but anything over that is unstabil.
What can I expect to hit whit a Vmod?

Btw Friday i will get a a64 3200+(caamc o344) anyone knows something about that stepping?

    sorry for my english
