    hmm ok

pull the plug and battery clear cmos >

plug PSU in, keyboard only, one stick of ram in the white slot furthest away from CPU and GPU that's it

bios load optimised defaults and then go back into bios and set multi to 21, disable turbo, set bclock to 175 and do not touch any other options at all other than vcore 1.3, vtt 1.35, vdimm 1.66

leave the rest of options with whatever bios gives you

try 185 and 200 as well

if it doesnt work pull the board out of the case, take HS off, flex the board a bit, pull CPU and put it back in after inspecting the CPU socket pins carefully for any damaged pins again (maybe take a macro shot and look at it on the PC) and after reinstalling cpu plug bare essentials outside case and only leave the CPU HS on top of CPU without mounting on the board....just hold it down with minimal pressure and fire up the rig, change the settings suggested above again and see if it does it.

If that doesnt work you will need to check all the parts individually to see what's playing up exactly.

okay back in the case, i think it were the BIOS that needed the full pull battery out/clear cmos stuff, because no problems for now

Im currently examining this board closely, although posts seem few and far between. Im looking to actually mount it in a case, can anyone tell me what cases fit except the ones recommended on gigabytes site? Which case are you using?I currently have CM cosmos s, but looking at pictures of the board, i dont think its going to fit. What are general opinions of this board of those that own one, it sure looks nice, but is it better than it looks

Can anyone give a list of cases (other than the ones on gigabytes site) that will fit this case? Anyone know if a seven PCI slot case (ie CM cosmos s ) will fit this board?. Obvously 4 cards in a 7 pci slot case is a no no, but what about running dual card SLI for instance, can i get it to work like that until i get a 10 slot case? Help appreciated, i want to buy this board, but must be sure i can fit it in my case.

Not enough space I am afraid, the board will hit the PSU.

I would think GOOC bios would be much better, have you tried that?
