Looking at the SF10_SSD003_100 slides it appears that “dual drive software” solutions are on the way.

 Dual drive software-
 Spans HDD & SSD to provide one drive letter
 Dynamically allocates data to the SSD based on usage models to maintain performance

Configures libraries in Windows OS –
 Move user data folders to HDD (Docs, Music etc)
 Once configured, seamless for end users
 Maintains many performance benefits of SSD

Just as well as Intel seem to think that SSDs may never be price competitive to HDD
