I see what you mean now....
yeah in the "recent news" section MCP35X pump links to http://www.swiftnets.com/products/H20-X20-Edge.asp
Instead of http://www.swiftnets.com/products/MCP35X.asp
I'm surprised the difference is that much, I'll have a closer look myself soon...
I see your points but in my case I have space constraints (desktop form-factor enclosure) so a top-shelf HSF won't do.
I'm also making do with Intel's IGP (Intel HD) in Linux for now...
If I do find I need/want a discrete later, it'll be very low power comparatively speaking, so LC won't be critical.
e.g. the nV GT210/220, or their next incarnation coming-out soon based on ferni.
That said I do see advantages in the H20-X20, in that extra loops can be more easily added later, should I want to.
Or new blocks that are compatible with next-gen CPU's, can be more easily retrofitted etc.
jalyst: if you have space constraints yet want proper liquid cooling - mount radiators externally or use some radstand. Going external removes main case limitations on internally mounted rad area. Usually there are no problems with placing internally rest of LC components like pump/waterblocks/alike, that often are even smaller then air coolers.
edit...wait until tomorrow.

Now that's fine looking curve indeed, especially middle part compared to others. Would be nice to see there 3.25 with some XSPC or EK top aswell .., as IIRC 35X was with it's own top (most probably better then Laing's?).
i'm curious about the price on the radiator 220 drive, the swiftech 220-QP can be had around $40-$50, but the 220 drive cause $90 more than the QP without pump. The only difference is QP can't mount pump, the drive can, but with $90 difference. unless there are some other improvement?
Edit..gotta wait unit tomorrow..sorry.

A bit silly is that most smart pump-fan controllers in market have analog voltage regulation especially for powering pumps (with exception of heatmaster with PWM everything)![]()
Yeah, I just never felt comfortable under volting pumps. All it takes is a small bump in the voltage controller and your pump wouldn't start. I found the old DDC3.2 limits was 5.8V minimum, 12.9V max.
http://www.martin.skinneelabs.com/im...derVoltRes.png
Any more any less...no go.
I just don't trust myself using a fan controller, perhaps in part due to my killing my old DDC2 with 30V when my test PSU failed..lol!
With PWM, you can plug it into the MB and either dial it in, or suppose you could even set a temp threshold.. You can't really mess up the setting...you get low, somewhere in between, or high. With voltage, you get too low to start, low, in between, high, and too high to start..
Anyhow, I used to be a D5 only user back in the DDC2 days, but I've since been extremely impressed with my DDC 3.2. Been planning to buy a 3.25 to try out and now these sound even better.
I wish the pump MCP-35x info hadden't been hidden away in here. I didn't have a lot of interest in "kits" i was customizing this build. This will teach me to read every post LOL
But the Kits are perfect for a few of my buddies who want to WC but don't/can't mess with it at my obsession level.
I use Swiftech whenever they have a product I'm looking for which for my build was a Pump with direct attach res. One of the few brands and companies I really trust. Plus there customer Service is top notch.
I just got my Swiftech order from Ncix today. ;-)
The 35X seems to be the perfect pump for what I wanted Scalable pump speed/quiet.
Gabe wanna send me 2 kits and I can vers them On triple MCR-420-Qp's against the Mcp-655 with Koolance top and direct attached res ? that have shipped and I can't cancel ?

i like that setup Gabe, thanks for the preview, it looks like a very clean way to set up a rig for watercooling.
I think this will make it even easier to get into watercooling. got my eye on one of those 320 jobbies
Nice Job

@Gabe
For the H20-220, how much would we be looking at for postage to Australia?
The Eco C240 is much cheaper yes, but postage is a little bit crazy @$84.50 USD.
I've bought larger and heavier items from the US before for less than that...

Not sure I'll get an answer but. . .gabe, are the pumps numbers going to be in the same ballpark with say an EK or Koolance top?
Circles SucQ!
If your annoyed by sigs telling you to put things in your sig, then put this in your sig
Bribery won't work on me...just say NO to AT!!!
Damn.. i'd like to know if these will fit on the EK dual DDC pump top as i was planing on FINALLY placing my huge order tonight that included that top along with 2x DD DDC 3.25 pumps. Hmm. Will it be worth it waitin who knows how lng for the new pump to hit if i also plan to have dual laing D4 pumps in the case with a crap load of Gental Typhoon fans in a HUGE MM Ascension Extension.
GABE When??? lol.. Gona end up with prob a 8+ grand system in the end and i'd like to have the latst and greatest pumps in this beast.

need to know when the kits will be available, but also how much postage to Aus will be.
Anyone know of a review for these? I'd love to see it compared to the Corsair H70 or the new Coolit.
Gabe, where did your review samples get sent to?

1000W UltraX3 PSU, 900 watt (1500VA UPS
23.999" Acer GD235hz and 24" Acer H243H
Yeah they shouldn't really be compared to the H20-X20 performance-wise...
But if you're on a tight budget & realise that performance is only a bit better or equal to the best HSF's...
Then there's nothing wrong with a H70 or Eco C240, especially if internal space is an issue for your build.
