I just switched from the semi-modular Antec Truepower New Blue 750 (had to rma) to the fully modular Seasonic X-650.

I highly recommend that whatever psu you get, make sure it's fully modular. I have seen no semi-modular psu where the manufacturer permanently connects only the ATX-24 and the 4+4 mb 12v power connector. They all throw in something you end up tucking away. I love having only the cables I want.

Yeup, also when you sleeve the cables, there will be no risk of frying up your power supply.

I'd love to see a black frame and red fan on the GT.

If you are going to use the stock TEC location it isn't going to work well. I had a 136W TEC that I fed 14V. It didn't do all that much better than the stock TEC. V10 isn't all that well designed.

I know about that, therefore I tried to find the problem, and found 3 foundamental issues:

-controller can't power up 12v on TEC
-there's bad thermal compound on coldplate that connect heatsink with TEC
and there's an issue that IMHO is the main problem on it:
-heatpipes aren't between two plates that can immediately moderate the heat of CPU, so gas or liquid into the heatpipes boiling with too violence and the cold that arrives by TEC can't dissipate directly that heat, therefore is created two distinct areas:
    -TEC with his heatsink
    -CPU direct heatsink

    the result:
    truly bad performances

    where's solution?

put on heatpipes an heatsink that can dissipate immediately the heat of CPU and at the same time TEC that dissipate the rest of heat and make necessary cold too maintain the better condition to dissipate heat
