Colorful GeForce GTX 460 iGame (900Mhz core)

"The cooler makes use of aggressive-looking shroud design that is inspired from shark-fins. Underneath it is a dense aluminum fin array that sits right on top of the GPU. The GPU base has four 8 mm thick heat pipes that make direct contact with the GPU. Two of these heat pipes convey the heat to the main aluminum fin array, and two to a smaller aluminum fin array that is positioned right on top of the VRM area. A backplate decks up the reverse side of the PCB. Colorful will release this card to the Asian market in September."

Yeah, and that cooler is awful also...have a look

    Has good power regulation though:

You can tell this is made from an asian company. On the other hand it also looks like a good match with a CoolerMaster V8/V10 or something.

Also it looks like the return of "turbo" button. This product is so much full of lulz but also looks somewhat interesting at same time. xD The backplate could use some more ventilation holes though. I'm sure the cooler works great though.

I like the cooler, if it's appropriately priced, two of them in SLI could be a nice counterpart to the 5970

How well does that cooler cool, how loud are those fans, and how well does it overclock? This is all that matters as it will be tucked away in a case. I'd bet money that it cools well, but it looks wider than two slots unfortunately.

I like it, it looks beefy and practical. Even through the power xPins should be solded on the PCB , those cables look weird , but it might be better in tight spaces.
    Yet still I like it.

    hardly.......

take a look at some of this stuff, they went above and beyond. It's pure hardware :banana::banana::banana:.

    ● Second, iGame GTX460 is very strict in the selected materials

iGame GTX460 cards continue to be used throughout the iGame 260 + on the great success of the SPT excess silver technology. Copper compared to the old PC B, have better respiratory heat resistance, and keep millions of times each point of contact in the work, still lasting quick response
Samsung 0.4ns memory using the memory particles, the equivalent frequency of 5000MHz, while the commercial GTX460 mostly 0.5ns graphics memory particles. BIOS In addition, the card has maintained a double-BIOS design
Moreover, the whole cabo full Nippon (Japan Chemical) solid-state capacitors, six-phase power supply are each equipped with three phase supply of SO-8FL Semiconductor package with low resistance MOSFET

    Ok, now that looks premium!

Better ram, protective backplate, very stunning design!

I dont think that the MSI Hawk uses 5000 Mhz ram chips.

because you're more likely to get 1GHz with this than a reference 470

But you're still more likely to get faster performance with a sub ghz 470 than a 1ghz 460

Power consumption and heat might also come into play, and IIRC the 460 series supports some audio/video stuff as well.

That doesn't mean it would be faster, and it would definitely be less reliable. There are a good number of factory OC cards that need RMA straight from the box.

Boring. Why no one has guts to improve "dustbuster" exhaust cooler design. They all just stick up a massive cooler with loads of heatpipe and bunch of big fans. Any noob can do that...

How are you people not making a bigger deal of the TURBO button? It's a BUTTON on a GRAPHICS CARD that says "TURBO"! You press it and suddenly - TURBO! Buy three! TURBO THREE OF THEM!!!1 TUUUURRRBBBOOOO!!11

The awesomeness of the "TURBO" button aside though, I'm all for this product and hope to see it arrive in the USA. Anyone who takes premium parts and slaps them on to a non-premium board is an overclockers best friend (provided you don't still have to pay premium prices).

looks awful? I think it looks great. No garish LEDs and bright eye cringing colours. Understated looks bely the powerful cooling engine underneath the hood.

    looks awesome!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

the heatsink looks nice, the fans look stylish... but a small exhaust to the back of the case, and the plastic shroud looks super cheap and cr4ppy...

still... if you remove the plastic cr4p and add a bigger fan or two, i think this card will do really well... the heatsink definitely looks very nice!

and the voltage measurement spots? im surprised...
they even seem to use a supercap a la asus and gigabyte...

so what exactly does the turbo button do?
and whats the point of dual bios on a vga?

Probably to prevent bricking the card from a bad bios flash. They did build these for the enthusiast after all.
