Yeah, I think all of us can pretty much "rate" the T3 correctly off hearsay alone at this point. This thread is only acting like a trap for info about new products. Consign it to the ash heap of old threads so we can focus on new products that are meant to replace the T3.
At Xtremesystems.org we don't help you save money on your cooling gear, instead we try to make you feel better about the insane ammount you've spent.
So I was taking a better look at the pictures and it looks like you guys incorporated something special on top. Is that the lighting that was talked about awhile back? Suppose to have a PCB for controlling the lights to get some really cool effects. DB, maybe you can confirm this and explain it a little better.
Yeah, probably need a move and just let this thread sink to the bottom of the ocean. Pretty sure we can all agree that the T3 has been written off by Primochill.

Yea there is an LED PCB that has 4 LED's that hit light cells. The board has a pair of momentary switches that allow off/half light/all on, and the switches are connected to the two small bumps you see on the face of the reservoirs.
So no quickie hole drilled into some acrylic as an after thought that you shove an LED into, no weird wires or crappy wire harnesses sticking out, no having to hide that stuff, no switch holes to locate and drill etc..
Reservoirs will come stock with UV LED's but replacement colors will be available. Red and blue at launch, maybe a few other colors down the road if there is interest.
You can also combine the LED power wire with the pump power wire at the molex so there's one plug.

It looks like they are going to split the launches roughly in half so as not to overburden their infrastructure and their reseller network. As far as I know the first three out the gate will be the Dual Bay, Single Bay, and the Dual Bay D5. Then the next wave will follow 2-4 weeks after.
I think the other issue being decided is how to actually bundle these...there are like 10 options so the choice is several different levels, or an ala carte where you just order the body color you want and then pick the face plate, window, standard motor ring or full conversion motor mount, plug style, etc. etc. The problem there is all the SKU's. Glad figuring out all that "sales" stuff is not my job
I will make sure somebody starts a thread here when they are about to roll out...it's still looking like 3-4 weeks.

Link to new thread re Danger Den's Res anyone??
If nobody has started one by the time parts are nearing shipping I will take some pictures and video and start a new thread.
For now the only pictures available are some of the earlier shop "beaters" that were test samples. There have been some changes but you get the point.

Suggestion for a Promotion (truly self-serving)
Much like the PNY promotion (25% off for BFG Tech video-card holders)....How would Danger Den feel about a promo for T3 veterans / victims....Too much to wish for??
Seriously, how about an advanced que even... Personally, I feel really good about the people 'involved' with the new line and really really want...nay...need one asap. (No cooling since this thing broke in March/April)
PS.. Can you tell I'm terrible at waiting![]()

Oh...And I'll take the black just like in the photo.... but with the LED lights

God this threads still going ? I had my t3 both pump and non pump .. use em cursed them replaced em with something else. And moved on Now I won't touch a primochill product till it been out and in wide use for a year maybe 3 or 4 allmost losing 2 comps (6k worth of gear ) to them not my idea of fun.
Please lock the thread the new ones look nice but anything associated with the T3 name leaves a bad taste in my mouth from the wild shilling accusations on reviews to the product to the drama with who's fault it was to the Slow RMA. This product and thread needs to be buried next to Hoffa .
And End Rant.

Actually, it wasn't the design, but rather the manufacturing of the design, which at first was under his control and then taken away. This is why the first batches didn't leak to my knowledge and the later ones had issues.

Yes I did the original T3 design. No I did not manufacture it. Ultimately a difference of opinion (actually about 12 of them) led to a rather dramatic parting of the ways between Primo Chill and myself. (That also included sales royalties for the record)
The new designs are being manufactured by DD and are night and day different in terms of materials and quality. Certainly if anyone in here wants to blame me for the manufacturing issues on the T3 that were completely beyond my control so be it (even though there are about 300 posts worth of me trying to resolve the issues in this thread) but obviously DD had nothing to do with the T3 what-so-ever. That is a bit like blaming Ford for the Toyota recall issues...
And for the 12 people that are about to message or email me that I should just "hide out" for a few days because somebody in here spoke their mind and voiced righteous frustration...no need. I am proud of the original design work I did and it was an excellent design. I also know I did everything I could to try to get the powers that be to take certain steps to correct manufacturing problems and I was in here everyday doing my best to answer questions--nobody else involved dared step one toe in here.
All that being said, I am still very sorry you and others had issues with the T3.

BoxGods: if someone blames you, then he clearly didn't make his homework learning about background of your design and primochill manufacturing flaws, so who cares about ignorant people opinions. "Dog barks, caravan moves on". Good luck with your future products.
I for one love the Design, it was the material that was failing not the Design.
I have 2 of the T3's, mine are still holding up but I do look at them to make sure they don't leak until I can get a hold of one of your new ones. I have my system set the way I like it and will buy one of the new ones because I don't want to change things around.
If it were not for people like BoxGods innovating products then were would we be? I say keep up the good work. NO ONE PRODUCT is Perfect or ever will be, Improved uponYes but Never Perfect.
Thanks for your Efforts BoxGods.
