Clear UV will never stains how ever it will block if you go metal with it as its not a Dye. Clear UV is a wired liquid.

Yep, the tygoon is fogged up, But no worries, i have 6 meters of primochill LTR to use It's not to hard to clean the tubes if you use a rag pice, soak it with water or something, then push it trough a few times.

One month later and the colour is still there.

The main problem isn't exactly sunlight. It's using a good Biocide. Only 1 or 2% of Anchor Water Wetting Agent isn't enough these days with plenty of sunlight. I'm now using the recommended amount of 5-8% and now there's no more fading colour.

All you have to do is post you reports with pics on here.

Previous testers welcome whom have posted.

as for the dye colouring you system yes this will happen as this is strong stuff. As said all so its a must that repeated cleaning is necessary over a period of time.

Am I one of the included testers? I was waiting to see you were back in business to ask about the above mentioned sample you said you could send to me, and now I see this new UV

So, just wondered if I could be included? If so let me know and I will PM you the needed details, and yes I can and will post pics!

I haven't switched over my loop yet to your dye's from my previous purchase or I would have already posted images with that, just got very busy with 3 product reviews and Haven't had time to redo my loop yet.

Still more work to do on this idea but the basis is

    Steam Punk

Awaiting the brass top cover and might change the Bottles to amber glass.

These will be prizes and gifts to people and there will be a limited run once they are finished.

For complete steampunkiness you need to change writing to apropriate retro font, and replace plastic bottles with glass chemical flasks

What chemical substance makes the green "UV" light in the yellow, concentrated dye? http://www.wcdyes.com/Shop/10ml-drop...reen-10ml.html

    Fluorescein maybe?

Are they all alike? Or are there different fluoresceins?

Yhe most of them are the same. Some company's how ever add extra things in like inhibitors and biocides in there dyes to make them last longer or to stop growth how ever we dont do this as its what cause problems when mixed with other chems. All our dyes are based on Powered for making them much stronger all so we sell the pure powder form dyes as well.

Ah, so the powder is more concentrated than the liquid concentrate?

I'm planning on buying your powder fluorescein for leak-detection in a car's cooling system; what blacklight / UV flashlight would you recommend? Just some cheap $10-20 ebay/dealextreme flashlight, but with low visible lightemissions (not much blue light).

Hi there yeh the powder will be perfect if mixed with the same substance that goes into the car. Most UV light will pick up UV yellow / Green and you can see it with out the need of a UV light if you use enough. You can Use a small UV torch though they are normally around £4.50 to £5.50. If your after a wider spectrum then the price starts to go up. the last light i bought for testing purposes was £199.99 how ever this is a seriously strong light.

All i can advice you though when using the Powder first mix it with the oil or liquid you going to pour in. Then Give it a good shake. then filter it. If you dont have any filters you can use coffee filters these work just as well (the finer the filter the better). Do this before you use the Liquid you have created.

Powder Trace dyes are 4 to 10x more powerful than liquid dyes alone.

On adv 50g will do 40 to 50 Ltrs of liquid for light tracing so 20g will do approx 15 to 20 ltrs of liquid. How ever its up to your self how much you use. The powder i stock are pure with no additives.
