The 60mm fan was off a cheap Antec CPU Cooler. The Spot Cool would help also. I don't think the move much air though. You could try something like this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835221023

" in no time the E8400 chip had passed 3.61GHz, then 3.84GHz. At 4.02GHz (445MHz FSB) the chip required a voltage boost to 1.5V in order to load Windows Vista successfully."

I need a longer Lian-Li case for mine is cramped. I will measure the space btwn my video card and the SouthBridge...

I am still looking for NB and SB temps in Everest Ultimate.

Will running an E8400 at 1.5v damage it in the long run?

    Hi,

The Antec Spot Cool knocked 5C to 6C degrees off my NB and may have cooled my SB a couple of degrees. Now, both my NB and SB stay under 50C.

I actually posted at 3.97GHz, but could not POST at 4GHz+.

    I will probably stay at 3.61GHz until i can buy a Q9650!

    Room temperature is around 72F.

My Lian-Li case has four case fans: A blowhole at the top, a fan in the front, a fan blowing air out the side and a rear fan. The PSU has one fan blowing out.

My Case is cramped. I have been thinking about buying an extended ATX Lian-Li case.

Remember i am running an E8400 @3.61GHz! Come to think of it, the temps were not so good when i was not overclocking!

    Thanks for responding,

It seems to be set-up that way, except the rear fan is drawing in air and the side is blowing it out! I will work on this...

I also have an 'Antec Spot Cool' over my NorthBridge.

All your temps seem really high at idle. Did you get your case fans straighten out? Get that side fan blowing in.

    Hi,

My rear fan is not outputting much air.

My case is crammed with cables and stuff. I need an extended ATX case.

I will turn around the side fan to see if that helps...

Unfortunately ShawnTRD, Lian-Li fixed the side door fan where it was impossible to reverse.

Why can't you take those 4 screws out and turn it around?

I took the 4 screws out and turned it around. The problem there was no way to screw them in on the other side. Believe me. I tried for an hour to find a work around.
