Hey Darth, we can't seem to make contact with Primochill. You mentioned in another post that you had a contact. Would you by any chance still have that contact? Were trying to get our money back for the re-call. Any help would be much appreciated.
One thing I do have to add about cutting poly and cutting acrylic with a laser. With acrylic fumes it's not too bad, but inhaling small amounts of vaporized poly and it can kill you. Mus tbe why they still use acrylic.

I don't think it was a recall. I think it's more of a "you"
They had to cut their losses at some point. A bad design is a bad design.
DTR, you ever get that delrin replacement?
EDIT: I had decent luck on the phone with them a couple times. Ask for Brian.

upgrading...
Even my deep well of patience is beginning to run dry. Although I 'feel' like I'm getting good communication, I also feel like there is always seems to be "another" delay. Perhaps that's just life.
I was under the impression it would be the beginning of Aug, now something else and the date is like the middle of Aug....so I won't be surprised if on the 15th I get another update saying blah blah blah - now Sept.
So I will keep my piehole quiet regarding delivery until I actually have it.
Voyeur Mods all over again?
"Thing is, I no longer consider you a member but, rather a parasite...one that should be expunged."
I'm just curious where you heard of a delrin version being made?
I haven't seen anything about that since boxgods and primochill feel out of their relationship, and he left with his design.
I have an original T3 in my rig, and it's got stress cracks, but no leaks yet. And my whole PC is built around that res... so I need a replacement, and want a delrin version badly... don't care who makes it.
edit: i found a link to where that delrin rumor came from: http://forum.ncixus.com/forums/index...&overclockid=0
If any of you guys that make custom blocks and stuff want to make me a delrin version, i'll buy one![]()

speak of the devil, i see a few cracks in my t3, but i think they're all on the pump mount part so its not that bad, i can replace that pretty easy if needed.
uppon further review, nope the crack goes beyond the bracket.
the time bomb is armed. i repeat the time bomb is armed.
why am i happy?
Well, I'd say its a little more that a rumor since they 'officially' state so...but it remains to be seen. With companies like Palit purposely missleading people (sending better gear to review sites and shipping lesser goods http://www.guru3d.com/news/palit-gef...-have-issues-/) you can't trust anyone further that you can see it and touch it - and still maybe not even then![]()
So I never got to OC my Q9550 rig for lack of the Res, and already upgrading to a I7 930 - and I still don't have cooling...I would never have thought this possible.

Today, after being in use for 1 year I found out my T3 is leaking.... Its 1 from the first batch that was sold...
It was bought 13 months ago... would there still be any warranty on the res or should I just toss it in the thrash and never look back??
Anyone know whats up with primochills site?
it's been in maintenance for like the last month I think.

I've had the T3 rev 2 for a few months now, using Swiftech 655 pump. Originally I started with 1 radiator and CPU block then 2 months ago I did a semi-rebuild to include second radiator and 2x GTX 470 water blocks. The only thing inside that are distilled water (half gallon total) and a few drops of PT Nuke.
All a single loop not dual loop even though the reservoir supported it directly. From what I read, there were little difference anyway between single and split loops.
The case it's mounted inside is Lian Li K62 (actually under Lancool name) and the way the drive mount are, the drive are on tabs on the side that allowed a bit of side to side movement. The bay is not touching anything above or below. All screws and fittings on the reservoir are hand tightened, no more than 1/4 turn after it becomes hard to tighten. No wrenches, no hammer, no ratchet, nothing but fingers and included allen tool.
I have not seen any sign of crack at this time.
Heat Killer 3.0 block for AMD
2x EK FTX-470 blocks
2x Swiftech 320 QP
Swiftech MCP-655 (non variable)
Primochill green tube
EDIT: would help to mention temp too if anyone were interested. GTX 470 didn't go past 45C and CPU (overclocked to 4GHz) didn't go past 40C. A far cry from stock GTX 470 cooler that used to hit 99C and cheap looking AMD cooler that allowed 55C to 60C on stock speed (yikes) and could never handle overclocking.

Mine has been working flawlessly for 4 months now.
And something very special is coming from primochill soon........
I dont even have the words......
At Xtremesystems.org we don't help you save money on your cooling gear, instead we try to make you feel better about the insane ammount you've spent.
No. There is a very good chance that it will not be cracked on delivery. And you could spend a couple of months running it on a test bench with clean distilled just like I did and still have no cracks. In fact, thoses odds are really high. Very few people got a DOA T3. But if you read this whole thread you will see that the odds are high that it will crack eral soon after installing it in a bay or when given enough time. More and more original first runners are keep talking about how theirs just started leaking. So do what I did and place it on a shelf to remind you about the old phrase of "buyer beware". Runaway, screaming if you see one in the wild as they are very sneaky little boxes that will suck your wallet dry.

I got 2 brand new ones sitting on my bench in my garage. After having 2 different ones crack on me im not risking it again. I'll just wait for the new one coming out from a different manufacture here soon that I've heard about.
my res cracked and leaked. It wasn't even mounted to the case. It sat on the base of the case attached by velcro. It really sucks, because it was pretty much perfect other than sucking bubbles into the pump
