I think it's memory dependent..

Memory sticks being able to handle X amount of FSBs is what matters here, especially with the DFI Infinity/LP b since these boards do not get bottlenecked in FSBs. Memory sticks are highly involved and plays the major role. Boards like the Abit nf7/s we have to worry about other things i.e. CPU type and memory types and performing mods are necessary, but no need to worry about the DFIs. Both my DFI Taiwan and China versions get almost exact same stable FSBs and Top FSBs. My RAM is the limit.

Do you remember some of us folks did test out the Abit NF7/ AN-7 boards with the PC4000 Adata sticks or the like (ones that are liked by those boards) allowed them to get to 260+ FSBs? of course... at slack timing but... ya get the drift...

another reason why I say this is because I removed the fans from my NB and SB of my Lanparty and still able to run high FSBs upto 250mhz in gaming, just like before when I had all the air coolings applied on those sinks. This tells me it is highly memory sticks dependent.
