Tbh I wouldn't count on seeing it this year, especially with the Formula doing so well.
Perhaps with the next wave of new CPU's?

That would be unfortunate as I'd really like to see the hydra chip and have sli capability on my amd setup.

I was hoping someone would have some inside info

The board that your thinking of imamage is called the MSI 870A-Fuzion and ASUS said July-August for the release schedule and we are not at the end of August yet. I to am waiting for this board. One reason is for the High binned chipsets so I could possibly get my 1055T to 4.0GHz as my FSB is holding me back on my 790FX-GD70. The other reason is for hydra and the chance to join the Hydra Masters.

I have been following this product quite thoroughly as it will be my next mobo and why shouldI know as much as I can. I have also been in contact quite frequently with Lucids PR contact for any info she could give me on the MSI Fuzion and the Crosshair IV Extreme.

ohh my god, you cant believe how excited i am with that PDF

for sure this is my next mobo, i currently have 2 x GTX 470's on a crossfire board (with SLI HAXS) but its getting harder to do this with Nvidias relentless fight to disable it,

i wish they would let it go, considering we will do it with hydra,

    many thanks for the link

It was my pleasure. Although I found this a while ago I didn't know that where was anyone else this interested in the board to post it up. Not that there was anywhere to do that anyway.

Don't mix Hydra N mode with SLI. They are both offering nvidia multi-gpu setups but they're aren't working the same way. Also Hydra N is much more dependent of good game profiles made by Lucid driver team and till now multi-gpu scaling is not so good as the official nvidia SLI. The only good thing is that Hydra N supports 2 different nvidia gpus in multi gpu mode that SLI doesn't.

Guru3D review of MSI Big Bang Fusion was few months ago but it was very nice and very informative regarding Hydra and it's modes:
    http://www.guru3d.com/article/msi-bi...review-test/22

They tested with Hydra driver 1.4 and N mode didn't work at all. It also lacked GeForce 4xx support and DX11 too.
There are new Hydra drivers 1.6 so their team is working hard to polish the drivers but still beside interesting Mode X (nvidia + AMD) I think that the genuine SLI and Crossfire multi-gpu options are better choice.
    http://www.lucidlogix.com/driverdownloads-driver3.html

Hydra really looks promising but the fact that is fully dependent of drivers from nvidia and AMD at the same time doesn't look good for it. (Lucid Hydra drivers are installing on a top of Forceware, Catalyst, or Forceware and Catalyst together)
