thanks radaja and I will keep that in mind as I have another Q9650 to test also a C batch that will be incoming shortly. I might send you the low VID and see if you can get it in the linx 4.5 stable club because I am not having good luck.

that seems like a good VID for either air or water

I can get it stable at 4.3 GHz on air (prime only, LinX way too hot), but I'm board limited after that as I'm using an X48 Rampage Extreme. Does very well for an X48 though, better than the P5Q Deluxe and Maximus II Formula I tried with it.
