some ?s bout DI containers + possible ordering

so im looking to build CPU and GPU DI containers,

for the GPU one im gonna use square aluminum piping, and i suppose a copper basplate to touch the GPU, but how does this exactly work, im assuming u cut out a square towards the bottom on one of the sides, and then attach a copper coldplate, but is there some way to force the DI to hit against that side, maybe i could cut off part of the aluminum towards the bottom, but on an angle such that it would have a slope facing the copper coldplate, does this sound good?

heres the stuff ill be ordering:

for the CPU, either http://onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm...owunits=inches or http://onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm...owunits=inches
for the copper piping they only have up to 2" OD, will this be wide enough, id rather go with 3" OD, whic they only have in aluminum
    heres the baseplate: http://onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm...owunits=inches
0.5" should be thick enough right?

    for the GPU:
    this square aluminum pipe http://onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm...owunits=inches
    2.5" ID should be good
and for the cold plate http://onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm...owunits=inches
2.5" will fit in with the 2.5" ID of the square piping

im plaanning on welding all the stuff together cuz its easier than brazing, and i know how to do it

im planning on using plexi to make hold down brackets for socket A, and 754, and for ATi holes for the GPU

insuolated with some nice neoprene this should be good, yah?

can you see the light? is it shining too bright? can you see the light at the end of the tunnel, i know i do, i know its true.

if you can weld aluminum, I'd try 2.5" x 3/8" AL tubing about 10" long and a .375" AL base plate BUT 2" is FINE, too.

And 2" Al square tubing (even 1.5" measure your VC), 2.5" won't fit on card, hits the capacitors, with an Al plate...

    sounds good.
