That's the way it works AFAIK
Can't wait to see what you came up with again

Here's an idea, for CB-less CPU's create a buffy base, and make them really tall, like 5 ft / 1.5m
Fill the tube with LN2, sit down and relax, it's Cascade LN2 cooling

As promised. This is the new F1..code named GEMINI
    Looks can be deceiving..
This pot will feature multiple bases tuned for performance at ALL ends of the spectrum and will also have an optional third dryice base as well as a limitless upgrade path for the future. All your old F1 HW still works with it including the alu extension and both mounting plates,
One base is tuned to rip with i7..more on the bases and tuning later. I'll have the unit displayed at quakecon next couple days.

Saw this in action in LA, it's a killer. Multi-base will mean no more excuses for crappy bench performance under any cooling.

Sorry to ask a bit harsh here.... But isnt the main difference just that it isnt solid no more? I am feeling dumb asking this question, but I really dont see this as an improvement :-/

Is it meant for a entry level F1 pot? Or what is the concept, sorry if I seem ungreatful, it really isnt my intension, I just dont get it - please fill me in!

i beleive it was so you sould have different bases

I.e. one for a coldbug, and then you could switch it to the base designed for no coldbug

    Your good
This pot improves upon the f1ee where it was lacking with modern day cpus and it gives an overclocker who uses it perf characteristics in a single pot that previously didn't exist. This pot is designed for the competitive bencher who needs pure speed out of a pot when competing live giving the ability to deal with coldboots LIGHTNING fast with excellent ln2 usage efficiency. The new F1 gives the weekend warrior who needs temp control with his cold bug cpu or low wattage cpu the necessary control. This pot gives the dry ice bencher who wants an easy to pack large internal volume container with no base voids exactly what they want. Its a fully modular container that still works with all the ee components with some better looks too. All of this + a lower cost than f1ee. I don't know, did I do enough on this one for u guys? .

Such a tease How about talking a little more about the different bases? Are there bases that cater to both types of 980x? One with nasty CB and ones without? For CB free 980x's, is there a base with enough capacity to handle say wprime at max ln2 temps?

For sure. When I say cold bug/no cold bug I'm talking about all cpus, for sure 980x. The "rocket" base is the one to use for full pot wprime. This base is one of the two ln2 bases.
