Congratulations Tictac, this mod is a high class ones. I didn’t do anything. I just modded the SIP they u told me, but the really trick was to repack it. This only could be found out and done by u off course
I just have to make clear that the XP-Ms &3200+ may have issues on this BIOS. The L12 mod on this CPU give default 200FSB and not 166. The original BIOS from Abit doesn’t allow high FSBs on 133, neither 200FSB CPUs. So it only works for 166 default CPUs. Ôhe only way I figured out to go high with XP-M is to put an 166FSB CPU on, set CPUinterface enable and something like 10x233 for example, the save&exit. Renter the BIOS and save ur profile. Then switch CPUs and to make it work load the 166CPU profile. Save&exit. From now on u can oc without limitation. Take notice that it only need to reload profile only if u clear CMOS. I’ve done the trick with a ×P-M L12 modded but it should work without L12 too. (@least try).
The trick seems to have some side effect on mem errors, but I m not sure cause my profile is from first betas that had a freezing prob so I don’t know if any code get mixed up.
If anyone find another solution or know how main bin must be change please post.
The best unbaff band seems to give it the A3 one, but do ur testing too.

    no... a better overclocker

enduracell: Do I have do some special before I can OC or was that only for 133/200 FSB cpu's? I've got a 166 Barton myself soo...

so far enduracell manage to hit 233MHz CPU Interface enable
with his 512 MB (Double side) BH5 stick

    Alpha 4 5 & 6 need L12 mod to 200MHz

for 133 & 166MHz CPU to overclock higher than 200MHz stable

latest feedback update from abit usa

    My specs:

    - AN7 Rev 1.0
    - XP-M 2400 IQYHA L12 modded
    - 2x256 Buffalo DDR466 (Micron Chips) CAS 3 DC
    - Club3D Radeon 9700

Windows will start at 247FSB apparently running OK.

Using clockgen I can push it to 260mhz FSB (not bad ) This is with Dual Channel and CPU Interface ON.

Problem is I'm having memory errors whatever FSB I put, doesn't matter if it is 166, 200 or 250.

I have to say that my memory is rated CAS 3, but even with AN7 1.5 official bios it doesn't work OK at 3-3-3-11, if I leave it running at 2,5-2-2-11 it will work at 207FSB flawlessly.

So maybe problems are caused by my RAM?
