Kingston HyperX H2O series (KHX2133C9D3W1K2/4GX) DDR3 2900+ reached so far..

    Hi all!

Got this 4GB memory kit today. This is really fresh kit and will be available soon.
They look very nice and OC capabilities should be OK with loose timings.

    Press release:

I might have to dig my waterchiller from garage for this kit.
Chiller can put the liquid down to -35C.
Will start to test these soon anyway

Would it be possible to open one up?

Looks likes the two long barbs are just 'glued' together

I failed in my tests badly today I must be in a rust after summer holiday,
cause I used a old version of CPU-Z and cannot validate my results
Well, all validation files are ok, but can not be shown from CPUID site.
Well, I got screenshots of memory page with F5 button. At least something to show to you.

Limiting issue was the BCLK with my super sucky i7 870 CPU. Max BCLK it can do is the same value I got today in these tests.

    Setup:
ASUS Maximus III Extreme with 1001 bios
Intel Core i7 870 The most suckiest of them all
    Nvidia GTX 460
    LED poster
    Thermaltake 1200W PSU
    SF3D Inflection point CPU pot
Memory voltage: 1.75V-1.8V (No scaling after 1.8V)
IMCV:1.55-1.6V did not help to go over 1.5V really

Maximum speed with stock 9-11-9-27 settings (DDR3 2800MHz):

Maximum speed with very loose timings. (DDR3 2910MHz) BCLK limited to 242MHZ

Too bad with the BCLK Limit- one question, is the ram capable of running 1T in these regions- just being curious

Hehe.. propably yes, but my IMC is so bad, that it is impossible to say anything for sure. These sticks would fly so high with some other CPU's.

HS is removable like in other HyperX products. I can see the same tape/pad in there.

I might try some aircooled runs today with X58 setup.

    not bad not bad!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
