HTC Desire was available since March 2010 , now when will AT&T release it ? my guess never, they slow on advancement and iphone is their cash cow.

Umm, I do realize that it has been "available" in Europe / UK area. It is coming out for US Cellular and another carrier in July....

So I don't know how I would have acquired it in march. I do understand your statement however, and that at&t is a pain; but no carriers here have it yet either.

i guess you, DVS, are overseas somewhere and already have seen the phone? I'm in the US, so that phone is a no show until at least august.

HTC said it would be coming to “select regional operators beginning in August” and we already know that one of these will be U.S. Cellular. This should instantly become the flagship handset for those users as the Desire is essentially a Nexus One with Sense UI.

It’s still not known whether other regional carriers will get this device but we should know more soon.

Why is it in the States you have phone models locked to certain Providers?

Seems that it limits the consumer alot.

it does. it also makes people switch carriers. so carriers pay $$ to phone makers to get the phone to get the users.

Its just like phishing. Gotta love the US and all the fun systems
