    That what I realised.

At £12 per heatsink and £3.50 per retention plate, and given the fact that I've got a spare pump and reservoir, I might as well just pay the extra 50p per CPU and £50 for a radiator.

MrMojo made me feel generous :] Seeing as I'm not crunching atm (parents house, elec bill etc., usual excuses), i'll also offer an EK Wave silver-plated, acrylic top K8 block for shipping+~£5.. though I can't post it for a while (next weekend probably)

8 processors on one loop? To one 120.3 rad?

    I doubt it.

If you don't mind the noise I guess. I wasn't sure how much a single MCR320 could handle, with quiet fans, and still decent temps... so I found 2 of them!

I'm slightly hard of hearing, which is quite handy when it comes to uber fans.

Currently have 4 FFB1212EHE's running at 5v on this computer. I'm nowhere near deaf enough to have them at full pelt.

Would anybody be kind enough to measure the thickness of the backplates the board come with? I want to cut some spacers for mounting the board during this week.

Appologies for triple posting, but my Opteron's just arrived!

Eight 8346 HEs from the United States of America.

I'll take some snapshots, but be warned, I only have a camera phone.

they are very clsoe to the board, i.e. they only stick out a two or three mm

Many thanks. Should we strive for a condensed version of this thread? It might do us good, and it could help if there is another groupbuy for this mobo.

Yes same board but that total is more than most of us paid. I think all told mine was around $500.
