    it is not easy to standardize ARM processor on market.
    so developer might consider x86 due to backward compatibility and one platform for all chip capability;
    but I don't think x86 core would be able to perform on par with ARM chip if it ever consume same level of power

    i like the idea of a super lower powered pc for running winxp as a torrent server, or ftp server, or some kind of pc where i need to leave it on 24/7 and NEVER plan to touch, the moment i touch it i feel like i bought a kids toy in a shiny case

    What i like the most about AMD Neo CPU's is the fact they are accompanied by a proper HD4000 series GPU. And that helps on several levels, including DX10 gaming support (Intel fails even on something as basic as TnL support from year 2000), Adobe Flash acceleration and HD video acceleration. Intel doesn't have anything of that and i see it as a massive advantage for AMD.

    Netbooks are unbelievably terrible, you can't even scroll smoothly in an excel spreadsheet. Sorry, but runtime is more aptly translated as 'how much longer do I have to put up with this'?

    Intel's atom is a terrible chip.

    Which is why having a CPU twice as fast with a decent GPU is probably a good thing right?

    Which means in reality this platform is even leaps and bounds ahead of nvidia ion.
