The Pineview is getting raped. But what about power consumption?
Main: Windows 10 Core i7 5820K @ 4500Mhz, Corsair H100i, 32GB DDR4-2800, eVGA GTX980 Ti, Kingston SSDNow 240GB, Crucial C300 64GB Cache + WD 1.5TB Green, Asus X99-A/USB3.1
ESXi Server 6.5 Xeon E5 2670, 64GB DDR3-1600, 1TB, Intel DX79SR, 4xIntel 1Gbps
ESXi Server 6.0 Xeon E5 2650L v3, 64GB DDR4-2400, 1TB, Asrock X99 Xtreme4, 4xIntel 1Gbps
FreeNAS 9.10 x64 Xeon X3430 , 32GB DDR3-1600, 3x(3x1TB) WD Blue, Intel S3420GPRX, 4xIntel 1Gbps
Nah, that graph shows how delicious the Super-Pie is. The Atom is twice as delicious according to my estimates.
Also, this review leaves out the important power usage stats needed to make this comparison useful. We already know the Atom is slow, but how much extra battery life is it going to give us vs the Neo?
says in the article "The level of TDP - 12 Tues Обеспечитает работу Athlon II Neo K325 чипсет AMD M880G с интегрированной графикой Mobility Radeon HD 4225. Obespechitaet work Athlon II Neo K325 AMD M880G chipset with integrated graphics Mobility Radeon HD 4225"
The K125 is just on a whole other level when it comes to performance.Too bad they didn't do simple battery tests so we can see how long can the Neo netbook last without charging.
Anyway, if the Neo can last for at least 4 to 5 Hs. I will chose it over the Atom. I had Atom netbooks and they suck, they suck real bad. Yeah, they last 7 Hs sucking, but if it takes minutes to load something you'll only get half the time using the netbook :P![]()

the specs are close, but the screen is a little bigger, the case, and the battery might be too.
anyone know if they are both on xp or if win7 is on the AMD netbook?
See, unfortunately that's as high as what, a CULV Core i3/i5/i7? That includes the graphics die as well. Now, the CULV processor will obviously cost more, but prices are getting lower every day. You also always have the option of getting a CULV Core 2 Duo, which will still blow both of these out of the water.
Sorry, maybe I'm just bitter at the terrible performance of netbook processors. They feel more like toys and less like notebooks to me.
The majority of netbooks nowadays run for something ridiculous like 2 or 3 hours, and many are still upwards of $500. It's ludicrous. I find it hard to recommend a netbook to anyone nowadays.
Yeah, I sorta hate my N270 netbook. The fact that I got a newegg steal for $180...sorta changed that a bit.
It's an Acer netbook newegg had a deal on and stock lasted for two minutes after the deal started. Seems like I was a little lucky.
Smile
The platform matters here the most. If they could just swap the CPUs and see how the battery life and temps go, great. Otherwise one has to compare whole platforms, not just the CPUs.
AII Neo can improve power consumption. My X4 does 0.925v for 1.9Ghz.

Why AMD Radeon rumors/leaks "are not always accurate"
Reality check
looks like atom done right to me... im worried that amd is waaaaaay too late to the netbook party though :/
its all about smartphones, tablets and 13-15" ultra thin laptops now...
for the first two power consumption needs to be lower than atom ideally, and for the latter the performance bar has been raised a fair bit by arrandale...

i know my grammar sux so stop hitting me
Why would anyone ever consider picking x86 over ARM for a smartphone? This "smartphone/handheld" MID buzz has been going on for 4 years at least by Intel. Never heard of actual products though.
if its the same speed as ARM with equal or lower power consumption, i wouldnt mind. would love to have SuperNES and GBA
anyway, back up topic. my bro got a netbook for giggles (N270) and i cant stand it! its so slow i rather not use it at all.
also according to benches, the amd is equal to banias at same speed? if so, that is good. still have a penitum m machine and its xxxx times better than netbook.
