    Still with Palit/Gainward models you can adjust the Gpu voltage.
    Check the back front of the pcb , don't the card have a voltage controller,
    ON NCP5388(Nvidia reference) or ON NCP5395T(used on Palit/Gainward models)?




    If you find such a controller than there is hope, if you don't only hardware mod will work.
    From what i know Galaxy is a subsidiary of Palit too so it's strange to Palit/Gainward to have these voltage cotrollers and Galaxy don't.

    Strange thing is that in their review guru3d says that they could adjut the Gpu voltage to 1.08v on both models GC and SOC.
