Exactly. Comparing stock vs. stock would be like comparing a HD5890 / GTX480 to a HD5750. In other words, the HD5830 would get destroyed. Overclocked however the story is a bit different. The HD5830 still isn't good, but its not terrible either and can comfortably handle 1680*1050 with maximum details and 2xAA 8xAF. In comparison the GTX460 when OCd can handle 1920 res, with maximum details and 4/8xAA and 16xAF.
