OK so a Cascade progress report -
I continue to be surprised by how sub zero OC can be so different than air or water - three weeks and I'm still getting the hang of it.
I found that my previous storage sweet spot was no longer working, pcie 119 was not working at all and it looks like 5xR0 might not be the best array any longer (6x, 7x?). - this is really going to take awhile!
The good news is both the cascade and my 980 are holding up well - this past weekend - many power on hours - lowest evap temp was mid -90s under heavy load. IHS temps are staying in the -50s and -60s under load
Also the new gigabyte "oc on the fly" easytune6 seems to be working very well and should allow just about all ggbt mobo users to improve personnal bests across pretty much all of the futuremark "multi-step" benchmarks
All that said - I have improved my pcmv score a little - now at 37403 - http://service.futuremark.com/compare?pcmv=344366![]()
