Did this chip take much "work" to get those clocks, or was is just easy and the clocks went up by themselves?

it's very easier bench with a retail
all 2.4 are a bit lazy and it takes a lot of time to find the best settings.
for a simple 2d benchmarks u have to look for the best core for affinity but 3D is not easy with them.

I meant just for the clocks, does it just easily punch out such crazy high speeds (6.4GHz+) or did you need to work it hard?

Just wondering.. Many experience weird coldbugs.. crappy clocking.. had to ask since I don't have one.. been debating for a while.. Been having fun modding lately.. and wanted to play..

No mods that I know for the board.. I figured for a clock like that... Was wondering if it had help... and if so what helped...

Hiwa.. Which Classified mod are you talking about? My 760 has been pretty flawless... But could probably use some help..

never thought i would of seen a 980x hitting 7.1, best ive seen so far!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
