So far not that i know of, Well required one less voltage then f7b for me, was running 1.31 now @ 1.30

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

what usually happens is either you touch it and dirty some of them or overtighten the mount.......might take you a lot of tries but im sure you will get it up and running
Is it possible too that the pressure of the cpu cooler has destroyed a solder line of the board ?

I hardly doubt that. Bend yes, but not destroyed. To destroy it you have to put REALLY good pressure.

Johnny87au any more news with new F7t bios? 3d performance?

I was wondering when will new beta bios pop up, it's been a long time....

    Yo guys!
The problem is solved. It has been one fu**** bended PIN. I really don´t know how this happened cause I can´t remember having even touched the pins of the socket when I changed the cooler. What ever the system is running again like it should.
Thank you guys for your advises especially that the problem might be cpu or board related

@dinos22 you will get a friendship request; as long as you don´t mind that Germany won the soccer world champion ship against Australia 4:0

Well im not sure what to run , but i know im not having any usb problems as i did with the f7b, seems alot smoother... requires less voltages too.. Was playing BC2 last night for a few hours and went on to play grid on my 5760x1200 eyefinity setup, everything was fine n smooth

Thanks for the link RE f7t Bios. Any idea who's responsible for this version of Bios? - I can not find the Beta Bios files on the Gigabyte sites.

    Yeah! - Shed loads.

It gives me back my USB Lian Li card reader & yet borks up at the verifying DMI pool Data line with dots beyond dots....?

This board is hammered with a 30 second dealy for Post Screen, let alone the 20 + second dealy @ veryfying DMI pool data.

I've never experienced such since the bad old Giga-Cr4p AMD days ffs.

This is terrible. - WTF!? - or do I just have a dodgey board with these delays?
The previous Bios versions do not invoke a dotted pause @ the Veryfying DMI Pool prompt.

F7t is official Gigabyte Beta BIOS, it does appear to break USB Keyboard support so, so any USB Keyboard users be warned and maybe pass until the next round.

G11 here so I know for sure that is broke, as MS Natural Ergo 4000 too I believe so I am sure there are others as well

Try f7b, fixes it.. i believe it could be a problem with the logitech "g series" keyboards..

I have been using F7p and it is fine with G11, I think F7r is fine too, it's just F7t when it stops working.

I have informed them about the issues with UD7/UD9 latest BIOS breaking USB keyboard compatibility, hopefully it will be fixed again in the next round of updates

They said it was causing some other issues so the removed the compatibility until a new fix is found.

I have a question about the the pins where you plug in the pwr and reset leads from my pc case to the mobo. I have 3 gpus 5970+2*5870s and when I put the 3rd gpu in it will not slide into the pice slot due to leads from my case going to the pwr/reset/hd led/pwr led. Is it advisable to bend those pins down so I can fit the card or just use the pwr reset button on the mobo itself. The plastic things that slide into the pins on the mobo cannot be shortened. Sorry for the NOOB question Any advise would be appreciated.

I had the same problem with 3 cards, I wouldnt bend the pins(just my opinion) I run an open case so I just used the onboard power and reset switches.

Picked up a new chip today, actually got it for a Rampage III Extreme to see if I could get past the bclk wall I am hitting at 218. It didnt work so I put the chip in my UD7 a little while ago and it seems to be a good chip. Booted at 231 first attemp without having to use SlowMode. Did a real quick LinX run, 3 passes at 4.0ghz, will test more tomorrow. It is a very hot running chip, VID is 1.1875v.

    Nice chip, for me @ 4.4 requires 1.35 pi/vtt and 1.31 vcore..

    Hi Guys,

I have been trying for the last few days to get this board upto 4/4.2ghz with 12gb of ram, and so far have
not had much luck... and was wondering if anyone could give me a few tips getting it booting/stable.

If im honest i will try to list the things i have tried so far, but there have been soo many suggestions idea's
i have tried i might be here forever listing them... So it might be better if someone could work through it again so
i might find find something i have missed.

At the minute i have tried using the template found on this forum, which a few of you have posted, and trying
to work forward from there, this is listed below.

with these settings it wont boot, not even the boot logo... and sometimes leads to a irq_less_nor_equal bsod, however if i lower blk to 195 it does boot, but not really
very stable. Additionally, I have since tested the memory in both settings and both pass memtest.

I would raise the vcore about two or three steps. Maybe the vtt needs a little more too. Lower the cpu clock drive to 800 mV.
I wouldn´t run Load Line Calibration Level 2; use the level 1 it is safer for your cpu

By the way; Have you ever tried to run your system with 6 gb instead of 12

I agree with Fritz the germ, try getting 6gb stable and learn the chip and board first, then moe up to 12. I am working on a new 930 also, this is benchable but havent done any major stability testing, a few passes linx only and some BF2. This is how I have my bios setup, each chip is different so you may need more or less vcore and vtt, but this is a good place to start. Leave advanced clock control default-800/900/0, shouldnt need tp change it for 4200. Of course set your ram voltage and timings to its specs.

    Thanks guys,

well i have adjusted the settings to match oc nub, and removed 6gb of ram... unfortunatly its doing its black screen thing on me again,
it gets as far as "windows error recovery" and stops.

I know im always close but cant seem to figure it out, hopefully with your help i might be able to get there...

I knw what your saying about all chips/boards varying in some way and have noticed that the starting value for cpu vCore seems a tad higher by default than most of the peoples/guides/threads, mine is around 1.25625v... im not sure if thats the deciding factor to why i seem to be getting such different results...

    Thanks!!
Go up on vcore 2 bumps/nothces at a time in bios and get to windows using only 6gb, you may need a bump or 2 in vtt also. Once in windows run a few tests and see how it does, you can use et6 for the minor tweaks to get stable. Once stable then work on 12gb.

The best way to start is not going straight for 4ghz and up, its time consuming but starting from stock speed, go up 100mhz at a time with stock vid/vcore and test. Go up 100mhz at a time until it fails, then adjust voltages as needed. Its a good way to learn what your chip likes and doesnt like without just throwing volts at it in hopes something works.
