Yes a triple does in fact work just fine. I have a HWLabs GTX 480 but have yet to swap it out with my PA 120.3 yet in part because I don't think my temps will get much better. With my cards at 850/2100 at stock voltage they idle at 33C and fully loaded never get over 55C.I think a single 3x120 rad is fine for three GTX480s
Not ideal, but acceptable.
