Work and School, Work and School, oi!
I hate UD7 because the upper gfx card simply cannot breath cool air.
Ive redone the cooling set up to improve the GPU and CPU cooling. Pics to come when my 5850 arrives![]()

Nothing fancy. Sorry about the pic's taken with my phone. An NZXT case i just finished. Mostly parts i had laying around from other builds had to pick up the case and cpu. This case is very tight. Thanks for looking.

Received an interesting looking huge package from Deep Cool today.
Honestly when Deep Cool said they want to send some samples for testing, I was expecting some below par, average to badly made products that are insignificant in the market.
But I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package.
Right from the packaging, to material quality, built quality these heatsinks are really good. Finish is top notch and I think these are some of the best fans out there. They are not made of hard plastic. all these fans (including bundled heatsink fan ) are made up of some sort of semi hard rubber which means they dont produce any rattles when attached on heatsinks even without cushioning or washers. They are brilliant. They are not high CFM fans, but they are damn good and silent.
(some pics are bad as they are taken from phone cam)

And yes, how can I omit the product catalogue of Deep Cool. These chinese companies always have interesting catalogues. :P

Will be testing all these products one by one as I get time.
Started testing Gamer Storm, and results are not bad at all. I will be re testing TRUE and Venomous X as weather has changed here since I last tested those, but I am seeing relatively small increase of 2-3C which is much smaller than I expected when I took out NH D14 to test this. Detailed report in another thread later when I do controlled tests.

^^ Its not a copy. Its same cooler with same OEM maker which is in all likelihood DeepCooL itself :P
In any case, the Gamer Storm is putting out some impressive results so far. I will post the numbers next week.

No way, the OEM is a china company called PCCooler, DeepCooL is just another brand.
Everyday is a NiceDay
Ok, it might not be anything compared to the rest of you but its my first non stock cooler! I got the top down noctua since the case has a nice big intake on the side, so i thought it would be a good combo.
This was the first computer i built fully from scratch, so to take it all apart again was terrifying. All went (reasonably) smoothly though.
Temps were hitting 100 deg at load with the stock cooler.. now maxing out in the 60's, even with what passess for a heatwave in london! Very pleased. And yes, i did get rid of some of the dust after i took the picture...
