    Just double checked and he currently has 56 kits, all from IBM and manufactured by Hynix or Samsung.

    I will be using my rigs to crunch quite a lot, but I will occasionally need them for other things that require more memory.

    that's not correct actually. you have to fill all of the first four (dimm0 1~4) and then, if you want, fill all of the second four (dimm1 1~4). that's how mine is.

    oh here's the ram i bought, $35 for four gb:

    OK. So is there a minimum 4 sticks required or can you use just two?

    No, just curiosity is all. But for those getting memory from Jacka (which is a good deal) they may need to get 2 sets (for a total of 4 sticks) if that is necessary.

    Not a bad deal factoring in shipping costs etc. As long as they make good on the bad boards of course. I got my dual board from the same seller, which turned out to be a nice little cruncher .

    EDIT: Just got an email from the seller of the memory saying that he's got a couple of other people interested in buying it. :o

    Got another email asking if he'd like me to reserve some kits. :/

    Need to get anybody interested in this to let me know ASAP. I'm pretty new to the forums, but if you have doubt of my trustworthiness I can link you to my ebay account and trader rating on other well known forums if needs be.

    If you'd have the dough any time soon I'd be happy to buy the sticks for you and send them when you've paid.

    I cannot believe that nobody is taking you up on that... I mean seriously...?

    Maybe PM those who got the boards? Maybe they aren't following this thread closely like the rest of us obsessed wackos

    Punched in some rough numbers the other day and got quoted £24 ($36). I tried doubling the weight and dimensions of the package and it was quoting the same price.

    I imagine it'd be cheaper for me to send 1 package to the US and then somebody send them onwards, but I'm not sure.

    Here is the list of the usernames I could find for people that bought boards.

    Rise; MaxCFM; werdwerdus; MrMojoZ; retro77; metalop1g; Duh;

    You know, I STILL have 8 8347 processors that no one bought, despite claiming that they want it.
