Like richierich said, I'd worry more about V's and temps than clocks. I just keep going up slowly until I see diminishing returns from the voltage.
Personally, I wouldn't go over 1.325 for 24/7. My chip has very minimal returns after 1.3 anyway.
Maybe with cold I could go higher but with my settup it just isn't worth the extra heat...![]()

Wow, is MSI 890FXA-GD70 really that bad? I only seen one made on the chart.

sovereignty68 as zanzabar said, most people are going the CF IV.
I've got the GD70, and i find it to be quite good.
Also chews has stated that it's a lil lax in performance per clock, but is able to push higher clocks due to the lack in PPC.
I'm still yet to really push the motherboard but with 350+HT i think it's right up there with the CFIV though.... *shrugs*

just a quick question..if you had to choose between the Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H or the 790XTA-UD4 which would be better for getting to 4.0???
I assuming the UD4 because of the 10 phases, but I've seen some of you get to 4.0 on the 890GPA....
just checking before I buy...
I'm gonna upgrade to a Crosshair/GD70 later, but for now my local store has these two Gigabyte models in stock...and I kind of am used to the Ultra-Durable 3 interface...
