    What's it supposed to do/fix? Anyone had a chance to thrash on it yet, any issues discovered we'd be glad to know about?

    SXS Very nice background. Is it possible for me to get a copy of the background?

    Also Beta Bios are not the quiet stablest around. I would void it if you have important data on your system.

    New stuff and fixes:

    Update Intel RAID BIOS to V3.5.0.3003.

    curious, i'm using Asus Update 5.25 connecting to Asus.com/tw server and the latest bios listed there is only Asus P4P800-1016, which i'm already have. i also tried connecting to Asus.com server, and yet no sign of 1017 bios.

    1017.001 is finally up at ASUS UK.

    But sxs112 already has posted a 1017.002 in another thread, so...

    Well, personally I'm not sure about anything... I mean, the latest BIOS revision 1016 included an update to Intel Raid BIOS version 3.54, and with 1017 beta we have Raid BIOS version 3.5.0.3003

    It's because the 1017 bios is a beta version. I would suggest you stay away from it BUT I like taking risks
