Holy batman!
Look at the flow drop!

i will seriously laugh at people who will attempt a single loop CPU with SLI using these blocks.
Nadeshiko: i7 990 12GB DDR3 eVGA Classified *In Testing... Jealous? *
Miyuki: W3580 6GB DDR3 P6T-Dlx
Lind: Dual Gainestown 3.07
Sammy: Dual Yonah Sossoman cheerleader. *Sammy-> Lind.*
Its my fault.. and no im not sorry about it either.[12:37] skinnee: quit helping me procrastinate block reviews, you asshat. :p
[12:38] Naekuh: i love watching u get the firing squad on XS
Gorgeous block, but probably no need for the plate.
Asus P6T, I7-920, 6gb ocz xmp, 4890, Raid 0-1 Terabyte, full watercooled - Triple Loop 5 radiators
rip the plate out, it wont hurt performance much and will give back the flow
I'm tempted to do this to my CPU Supreme. Do you reckon i'll lose much performance, given the increase in flowrate?
Hmm. Not sure what i think about the VGA block. It's a little complex for a VGA block imo. Good to finally see a review though.
Wow, no 3 way SLI with this that's for sure.
probably need a revised plate. nice testing.
How is that hold-down plate worthy when it is missing a side? Seems like it would be super flimsy.
i7 2700k 4.60ghz -- Z68XP-UD4 F6F -- Ripjaws 2x4gb 1600mhz -- 560 Ti 448 stock!? -- Liquid Cooling Apogee XT -- Claro+ ATH-M50s -- U2711 2560x1440
Majestouch 87 Blue -- Choc Mini Brown -- Poker Red -- MX11900 -- G9
sorry for bumping this thread, but how does this gpu block compare to the MCW60 R2?
I'm interested when can be expected EK VGA Supreme HF?
Swiftech dominates this market i am fairly sure probably not worth ek releasing.
24/7 Work & Play Rig
Gigabyte X58A-UD5, i7 920 @ 4.56ghz 1.48v 21x217, G.Skill PI 12Gb 8-8-8-24-1T 1.56V @ 1736Mhz
EK Supreme HF P1, Dual EK DCP 4.0 Pumps and EK Res, XSPC RX360 & RX240 w/ 1850rpm GT's
Sapphire HD 4870 1Gb @ 810/1020mhz, 2x Dell 2407, 2x 1Tb WD Black SATA3, 2x 2Tb Hitachi 7k2000
Cooler Master ATCS 840, Corsair 750TX PSU, running OSX 10.6.3 & Win 7 64
im thinking about ordering one and using it in a single loop with cpu, but im not worried about the flow drop since my loop will be all of about 14-17" total distance wort of pipe, and not OC just noise reduction.
i am curious to know if anyone has tested to see if there is a significant difference in the flow rate / temp with the accelerator plate removed??
did you read http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/....php?t=253337?
Irrespective of the fact that this block is made by a competitor, and that your remark is presented humourously, I feel that it contributes in spreading a myth. If this block performs decently well at low flow, then all you have to do is setup the blocks in parallel. Look at my data, it applies to this block as well.
