Not a bad racer, esp at that price, but it's a bit too easy to play and very repetitious, so unfortunately Burnout becomes an appropriate name, but not in a good way.

That about sum it up?

Apparently you are very tolerant to nonsense complaints that are basically details of one's own ignorance vs legitimate beefs. That seems to pass right under your limited radar, so yeah, I'd say you're not only very confused, but a bit self righteous. You'd fit right in with the guys that whine on the CM forum. I hope I haven't given you any ideas there, because most of us over there don't want such senseless rants to be perpetuated.

Public tantrums are what hyperactive kids that are poorly raised engage in at shopping malls to try and get attention and attempt to make others feel bad. Imagine someone actually expecting better than that from people chatting on public forums? To those making the same complaint, return the damn game if you can or sell it on eBay, but blaming the devs for content you act oblivious to over your own ignorance is all too common and just plain silly.
Obviously the irony was lost on you! Nice tantrum, well thrown, you prove my point nicely!

were both systems LGA775? It seems there's an issue with nV drivers causing many chipsets to default to PCI-E 16x 1.1 even if GPU-Z shows 2.0

Actually I quite concisely made my point and you dodged it with more self righteous BS, as do those doing the incessant whining about DiRT 2. Sounds to me since you defend them you are in fact likely to be the type to throw a fit when mommy and daddy buy you something on your B Day or Xmas list you didn't read up about. And you're childish use of smilies isn't making you look any more mature or correct in the argument. Like I said, you fit right in with the morons that whine about their own blunders.

You moan and whine about peeps moaning, and you throw a tantrum about peeps throwing tantrums, use name calling and insults and yet I am the childish one?

Just expressing my opinion, he seems to have taken things personally for some reason, with the insults and what not!

Anyone seen this video of the soon to be released WRC by Black Bean games? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If-6k5cdXSQ

Seem to be on the PS3, slightly worrying how the car doesn't smash through the barrier at the side of the road. I had hoped this would be a decent rally game, but seeing that vid gives me some large doubts......

No you're not just expressing an opinion, you're first off whining like he is for content you act oblivious to in a game you could have easily read about before getting, then accusing me of the same thing you're doing as I said. At least my gripe makes sense. You just don't like it because I'm griping at one of your fellow whiners that's too lazy to make an informed decision like you.

Perhaps THE best point I made though is your type just love to spread your BS so much that it actually starts influencing people in misleading ways about certain games and those whom develop them. There's nothing wrong with DiRT2 as you and the one you're defending here describe. Indeed the fault lies within your own inability to actually read a bit about what you're buying, or as I implied, maybe the problem is mommy and daddy buy things for you both too much. After all, when one starts spending his OWN hard earned money, he tends to be a bit more diligent about choosing what he buys.

But alas, there IS a point you make, albeit an indirect, unintentional, and FAR from admitted one. That being there's no sense in my talking sense to those whom have none. On that note I'll end by concluding that both of you, esp you, and too dense to grasp the reality of your own ignorance, so any further time spent arguing the point is a waste. At least others whom may be reading this and wondering about DiRT2 will likely get a clue and avoid both of your mistakes and the childish blame game you're playing though.

Bottom line, complaining about people that whine on about something caused by their own laziness is FAR from a tantrum whether it's voiced publicly or not. It's a wake up call that your kind instead of learning from like to shrug off sarcastically in denial. It's that kind of attitude that causes you to stoop to blaming devs for your own ignorance in the first place. As for STEvil's comment, if you don't either own up to that or stfu up instead of this BS dodging, I'll just simply put you where every other idiot belongs, on the ignore list. Thank God this forum has one, because it definitely needs it.

    WTF?

You really need to lighten up there, it's only a racing game! Take a chill pill

Seriously, stop the preaching and try to post something on topic, instead of throwing pot shots and insults at me. Jeez, some people, enough already.....

I just received my G27 (coming from a Logitech Momo) and I'm kind confused on the steering rotation from default to 900...

...and I keep stepping on the clutch for my brakes...

...I'm set up for Automatic Gear due having no where to place my shift at the moment due to my desk configuration.

What is a good basic set up to build on for the G27?

all I remember is to set my brakes at 5%

    advance thanks

    300 to 540 degree rotation

Brake sensitivity should be higher than gas

    Acceleration Deadzone should be 0%

    Steering Deadzone 0-5%

    Clutch Deadzone 10%

    clutch sensitivity 40%
