I bet it won't get you any higher clock speeds. Why? Because the data and address traces just increased in length by about 2 inches. At 300MHz that's a fair bit of inductance and crosstalk to deal with.
hmmm big pcb though ... means longer traces = lower oc, especially with tight timings :/

We'll just have to see if it does what it purports to. It would be a good alternative, but I too think that it will significantly degrade the signal, so you might not even get a higher O/C.

what you guys need to remember is trace lengths are now a mile out of tolerance.I would say your looking at damaging the OS the second you install this product.

I'm happy with just vmodding the vdimm, its easy and cheap, unlike what that will be.
id rather do a vdimm mod instead and thats what I did on my nf7. I most likley wont be doing that on the a64 rig im getting, cant afford to fry the ondie memory controller or break anything. besides im getting pc4200 ram that should do 300fsb at like 2.9v

It looks like they COULD have made the traces shorter too, which is kind of strange. Deffinitly a nice idea though.

You better believe the memory manufacturers are none to pleased about this.
I would bet if more products like this come out, that the mem makers introduce some type of item into the circuit that will blow after a certain amoutn of voltage is introduced across the path. Then what happens...buh bye warranty. They will be able to detect that above spec voltage was applied.
Not to mention the obvious problem with all that added height. Anything in that general area may end up causing mounting, unmounting, and dip switch changes a rather gruesome effort. Bah, I bet more dimm slots get burned out due to that thing than anything else. You wack one of those things while the board is live...no telling what would happen with all the extra torque due to the hieght of the extra pcb that will be placed on the slots. May be an esy thing to pop a slot, or cause a short.

Yep, it sure looks sweet.You guys have a good point about the longer traces. Now I know next to nothing about electronics, but wouldn't the fact that you're pushing quite a bit more juice through, cancel out the latency(?) of the longer traces? I dunno, we'll see.
