Does anyone have any adivce on how to break my BCLK barrier. I have encounted quite a few errors trying to get it past 212.

I can use 211 no trouble so far, however 212 seems to get random errors no matter what voltage, 213 the BIOS is laggy and 214 just won't even post.

Any ideas? I have tweaked with the PCI-E frequency, IOH/CPU clock skew (I got it to 215BCLK posting with that somehow), CPU differential applitude, PWM frequency and all the voltages.

I would just like a combination of settings to try as tweaking them individually is getting me no where. Surely I should be able to get past 212BCLK?

EDIT: This is with a i7 930 btw.

Could be the CPU yes. Do you have the opportunity to try it on another board?

I can't test it on another board no, however when running in QPI Slow Mode the other week I somehow got it to 235 BCLK.

    As above.

I have tried up to 1.45V doesn't seem to make a difference.

EDIT: I will point out though some voltage combinations seem to make the board unable to post. For instance it will post one minute but the second I put the IOH to 1.27V then it won't post.

I have tried some random tweaking after reading, tried the PCI-E at 110,111,112 and 113 - no difference.

HOWEVER, my computer wouldn't boot at 213, I checked the timings that the BIOS had determined to be "auto" as I left it at that for safe measure. Am I correct in assuming that the RTL values on channels A>C should all be different?

The timings get closer and closer together until when it hits 213 they become the same on channel B and C - doesn't post. Change the RTL timings slightly so they are different - it posts, but the BIOS is still laggy. I tried loosening the timings another 10, loosened nearly all the RAM timings in fact, but 213 is still laggy and 214 still won't post - annoyed! It has to be a timing issue as so far both RTL and clock skew seem to have an effect on the posting ability and the CPU can get to 235BCLK on QPI Slow Mode.

Thanks for the help guys .
