IMO even H250 is too much.
Me thinks sig is meant to give the post a bit of personality.
Unfortunately, if you look at an average thread you'll see that ~half of the whole viewable screen does not consist of post contents, but sigs. People put just about anything to their sigs.
"Look i have 4 fans in my rig!"
Limit the max font size used in sigs to 1.
Currently it's only a recommendation. Size 1 should be perfectly readable at any sensible resolution used. But
the most bugging feature one can find in a sig are the flicking/annoying animated gifs. I've seen several +500kB gifs animated in dozens of screens...

No its not.
MaxxxRacer's sig is about 167H x 678L. It's 128px too
wide...
But it doesn't bother me, usually width is not a problem at all.
