The warranty sticker is only a proof that the block is leak tested.
If you remove it you still have the warranty on material and manufacturing.

I've got Acetal/Nickel block last week (from reseller so must have been couple weeks in the warehous) and the best performing plate #1 was mounted in it.
Not sure though why the block screws are not black now (perhaps a brief shortage?), fortunately I've had Acetal/Copper couple weeks earlier with black screws so a quick swap and looks good now lol

Is the full cu revision for fitting 1/2 ID 3/4 OD coming any time soon? Trying to decide on whether to pull trigger now on non full cu or wait..
Anyone know if this test, and the HK 3.0, are with HT on? I didnt notice in the test writeup.
All my tests are with HT on.

Conclusion
Let's get something out of the way quickly: with (the included) Plate 1, this is the best performing block I've tested to date. Its restriction is very low and its thermal performance is the best at every pumping power (and at typical pumping powers, it distances itself by quite a bit over the XT). The only caveat is that it needs Plate 1 installed for it to be the absolute best, and that's not much of a caveat considering it's included hardware. I would actually like to see even more restrictive plates as options to see what else can be achieved from this block thermally (yes, I realize a blank is included, but home machining is not in most people's repetoire).

affiliate13: since some time EK changed preinstalled stock plate to #1, so new buyers don't need to change it anymore.
Yes i remember Eddy mentioning plans to do that.
Good new then this has already been implemented.
I would imagine then the block will be leak tested before shipping as before..but with the better performing plate.
I will be getting an HF when the new spacing model appears all being well.![]()

I just got my EK Supreme HF Full Copper in from Performence-PCs. I cant really tell, but am I going to be able to fit compressions on here? Or will I need to buy some rotaries?
You'll surely need to buy some rotaries.
Eddy promised a new revision that would be able to fit 3/4" OD fittings, but it seems to have delayed...

Enermax Galaxy DXX 1 KW || EK-D5-V2
Custom V2110b || Delta triple blade 140 CFM
1/2"x3/4" Clear Primoflex || Distilled water
Darn, was hoping to save some money. Oh well.![]()
Sweet! I've been waiting awhile for these new revisions!! Can I order directly from the site or do I still have to wait a few days (weeks) to get them.
BTW, JUST to make sure, the new CU edition will support BP compression fittings that have an ID of 1/2" and an OD of 3/4". xD

mounting of supreme HF. Does it matter what direction block are mounted according to install instruction from EK or flip block so inlet are placed 180 degres closest to ram slots ?
I've read in a few places that it's best to put the OUTLET hole on top, so that air doesn't get trapped inside the block.
On monolithic dies it shouldn't really matter, on 775 quad cores with their two seperate dies you might see more of a difference.
